Truly a wonderful place. I'm grateful every single day that my mother is at Sunrise Mississauga, especially now. Very caring staff, efficient and extremely knowledgeable administrators and happy residents. We were lucky to find this gem.

This place will provide good care for your parents. However they suffer from the same problems as all senior living facilities, staffing. Quality of care is more dependent on which staff is on for any given day than it should be. The premium you pay would lead you to believe their staff to client ratio and standards will provide a better than average experience.Most days quality of care is as expected to better than expected. However on days when they are short staffed or junior staff and in, the quality of care suffers. It's for this reason that I believe Sunrise is average and not worth the premium you'll pay.

I just ordered a chicken roti from these guys and they sent Me the roti separate from the wrap. Why am I wrapping the food when I paid you to do it? Also there’s chicken in the bone. What kind of foolishness is this?

An older friend got a unit here late January 2020 just before Covid hit. She eventually made friends with staff, other clients and guest entertainment. Satisfying to see her enjoying meals and her personality coming out after living widowed for 5 years. When the first wave of Covid was raging thru care facilities, this one had one case reported to July. I think that says it all.

What an absolutely atrocious facility. My grandmother has lived here for just under a year, at the direction of a case worker from the CCAC. Since day one, we have been lead astray and my poor grandmother has suffered. She has had 14 UNEXPLAINED injuries at the hands of the staff. Each email notification from the staff has indicated an unknown" cause. Once

Too many inedible pieces in their chicken. Feel like I'm doing surgery while I try and eat it. Rice was good but I had to watch out for bones and things while I was eating it.

It is with a heavy heart as I write this amazing review. Our daughter Jamie" passed away in Dec 2022. She had resided at Sunrise for many years. We all know the kind and loving care she received. Thank you does not speak what our hearts feel. Any of us will be honoured to live at the Sunrise community!"

My father received excellent care from Sunrise Mississauga. The concierge was always friendly upon arrival. The Wellness nurses provided consistent updates and were always available to answer any questions. The Care Team on the reminiscence floor were sincere, attentive, caring and supportive both towards our father and our family. Finally the Director was professional and compassionate. Not only was she there to address any concerns or to ensure our needs were met, it is apparent that she genuinely cares about the well being of all residents. We are thankful our father was able to enjoy his last few months of life with this facility.
