Well, it was very very very very small, like very small (to quote the speaker). It's essentially a tiny blown up igloo with a projector overhead that barely covers 1/2 of the igloo space. The graphics and information is nice to see and hear. I had a problem with how it was presented though... It felt like a lecture more than a presentation, the speaker has a lot of work to do to bridge that gap and make it entertaining instead of tedious to listen to. Any questions?

It's a small area, so something to consider if you dislike confined spaces. There is also a light in the middle of the dome that is blinding if you're not sitting in the right spot.Otherwise, this was an awe-inspiring experience. Our guide, Charles, was very knowledgeable and ably handled any questions the group had after the show. He spoke at a comfortable pace and his enthusiasm rubbed off on me.I came out having learned quite a bit, and feeling grateful for having had such a remarkable perspective of the universe and our place in it.

If you have been to an actual planetarium, it's best you don't go here with the same expectations... this is literally a blown up igloo.Had the presentation been extremely informative and engaging, the facilities (or lack thereof) could have been overlooked, but unfortunately this wasn't the case as our one in particular felt quite rudimentary. The presenter was funny and pleasant, regardless.

It is a good experience, for anyone who wants to understand astronomy. Obviously not a huge place - but this is why it is called a university planetarium . Loved it!

I had no idea U of T had a Planetarium! It's not the Mcglaughlin planetarium from many moons ago. The planetarium itself is in the shape of a life size inflatable igloo. It seats about 25 people comfortably. The show is great. The presenter did a great job navigating us through the solar system. She was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Admission is $10.00. Its something different if you are looking for a place to go in Toronto.

Definitely not the best. It felt like they took a projector from the 90s which was dissapionting. My girlfriend paid for this and now she's paying me for coming. With that being said, I could see myself coming back.

The university is beautiful and there is a lot to explore how ever the planetarium inside of the astronomy department is closed.

The show itself was good, but the speaker needs a lot more practice. He used way too many ums and ahs. It was worth the price of admission but not any more.
