Handyman Connection of Sudbury

Called and spoke to Celeste 3 weeks ago for a quote on a job. Still haven't heard from anyone.

My experience was terrible with this company. A worker came and quoted the flooring install would be 500$. I said go ahead with the job, and left my parents at home to give him a cheque. The worker charged over 1000.00 for the job, took all day, and was SO SLOW and called in another worker to help him. I am furious. I was ripped off by the oldest trick in the book by this company. I had another worker do the same flooring install on another bedroom (same size) a month ago, and I paid him 500 dollars total, and I quoted several workers for this install and every worker gave me a 500 dollar price for the job, so 1000 dollars is completely outrageous for this type of job. It also should have taken him 4-5 hours max, and the worker stalled by removing doors (unnecessary), making phone calls, performing unnecessary measurements, checking the soundness of the subfloor (its fine, thanks!). He just did everything possible to stall and waste time so he could double his quote. What a scam artist. I do not recommend this company at all.

I used this place for a couple of jobs and was happy with the work. But then I tried to get a third and fourth job done and was not replied to. After a year out of the blue they called me. I did have another job that needed done. Estimate was done. But the work was never done due to unforeseen circumstances on their part. 4 months later a replacement was assigned to the job. Called once, the tenant wasn't home for him to look at it. And I never heard from him again. Shower surround install.

Tucked all the recycling away and left it after a water heater install. With that, managed to unplug my deep freezer and leave it unplugged, with beef and poultry inside.. Not pleased.

The handyman never called, therefore I never recieved any service. However the woman we spoke to over the phone was really nice!

Door installation and laundry room remodeling

I had booked a visit for an estimate two weeks ago, drove 3&1/2 hours to meet the tradesmen and they never showed. When I spoke to the office all she could do was mumble. No reason, no apology. I will never use this so called service" again and would advise that no-one use it either. I had to give it a star rating because this message board will not accept a posting without a star rating. In reality this service deserves a "0" star rating!"

Great, very responsive. Showed up on time, quick and under estimate. I will use Handyman Connection Sudbury again.

We had our shower installed by a plumber named Murray whose name was given to us by the company. When we got a quote we asked for the maximum it would cost. We were given a price and stated that the price was for 4 days of work that it could be less. The plumber who came in worked 3 - 4 hours per day and it took 5 days. I do not feel 3 1/2 hours is considered a day. When the work was completed we were advised that the quote was for the job. Some of the plumbing had already been completed that the plumber was not aware. I called spoke to management regarding our bill and she said she would think about it. That was at least a week ago. She has not yet called us back. I will NEVER go to handyman connection again and I would not recommend it to anyone else
