Had to rent a liftchair that was built by this company for 2 months. Near the end of my rental while feet up in almost the highest level and reclined comfortably while watching TV around 1am when i grabbed the chairs remote control to get chair to decline but there was no illuminated push buttons with no power on the remote. I was litterally stuck with feet up and tilted back with no way to get out of this lift chair. Pretty funny eh? Now if i was living alone, who would you call for help? After a hip replacement that went wrong with a broken femur bone you are limited and told not to exert your legs or hips in any unconventional ways inorder to not dislocate either of them. Luckely my wife was not a sound sleeper and was waken by my p,4$€&÷₩¥% yelling.The two end wires were found loose from the control box which was probably attributed from plenty of use. The company that makes these chairs should make these connections more secure. Other than that terrible experience the chair was great for rehabilitation."

0 Stars - this was a good company but now there is no chance of actually getting any service or warrantee on their cheap product. DO NOT BUY A Golden chair. Our chair stopped working after 2 weeks and they have subbed out their support to a third party that offers no actual service. I have spend ENDLESS hours on hold trying to even reach a repair representative. When i did they referred me to a YouTube video.

I purchased the Orion PR405 some time ago and figured it was about time to do a review. I'm a very heavy set fellow with some major back and leg issues. We chose this one because it has what they call the twilight" feature. Basically

From the moment my husband contacted them about their BUZZ Around EX Scooter we could not have been happier with Golden.Their Sales and Marketing Manager Katie helped us personally and professionally and we were able to go from test drive to delivery in 5 days. From previous reviews I can say that we experienced no hint of the problems from previous reviewers- Golden is a first class professional company who have a great relationship with their dealers and put us in touch with the right people immediately. Thank you for the freedom you have helped my husband achieve.

I am happy to say I am a proud owner of a beautiful twilight lift chair from Golden Technologies. It is hands down one of the best purchases I have made. I bought the chair because I am experiencing a difficult pregnancy and knew I would be having a c section birth and getting comfortable was next to impossible. The swelling in my feet was hard to get rid of or even lessen, until the twilight came along. The feature of having my feet above my heart rate changed everything! The swelling is no longer an issue. The lift function made it so I didn't have to use my abs to get in and out of the chair. It's comfort is one to be admired! It's the perfect balance of supportive/firm and cozy/soft. I highly recommend people buying this chair even if you don't have any pregnancy issues, even more so if you do! The stress that is removed from being able to finally find comfort is priceless.

I have never dealt with a company that could care less about their customers.I e-mailed Golden about a possible warranty claim to see if it was covered. Their reply was find a service dealer.After finding a service dealer and getting my chair fixed I decided I wanted a new lift chair.Ordered a power lift chair through a dealer that was in stock and to be delivered within 4 days. After 7 days the dealer inquired about my chair and could not get any update. Several times I contacted the dealer and was told that Golden was not giving any update information on my order.I contacted Golden head office in the U.S.and was told it was not their concern and to contact Golden in Canada.I e-mailed Golden in Barrie inquiring why if my chair was in stock why it was taking so long to deliver and why they could not respond to the dealers inquiries.I did not receive any response from Golden Technologies.After 4 weeks of waiting a chair was delivered !I will not deal with this company again.Obviously they do not care about customers

This company does not even deserve 1 star. I have been dealing with them for months now on a warranty issue (adjustable bed) which has been very badly handled and have been getting mis-informed and frankly, treated very disrespectfully. I have even escalated this to the VP Mark Smiderle's attention with the hope of finally getting somewhere, and the issue not only remains unsolved, but further promises to fix the problem were simply re-broken.

Every bad thing you hear about this company's horrendous customer service is true. I actually believe that one 5 star rating is fake, because there is no way that we are speaking about the same company - Golden is far from perfect. Their customer service representatives are rude and absolutely useless. They will make promises to get back to you and never do, even after you follow up over 5 times. They do not care one single bit about their customer and will not hesitate to treat you in a condescending way. I will not only avoid this company, but make sure that others do so as well - because I don't want them going through the same thing I am. Avoid at all costs unless you love headaches. I wish I could give a 0 star rating because 1 is still a compliment.

Terrible customer & after sales service. They refuse to honour their warranty and continually make excuses. Don't buy from this company!

I am the proud owner of model PR761 EZ Sleeper Twilight. I am so grateful that I have finally a chair adapted for my pain and also able to sleep in it. The quality of material and the engineering design all to help you alleviate your pain. It was a dream for me for such a long time and Golden Chairs service and care made it all happen.
