Reitmans

This has to be the worst customer service I've ever seen!!! I went in today to buy a couple pairs of dress pants and the two ladies working couldn't be bothered to help me. I asked for some help finding what I was looking for and the brushed me off, and pointed at a rack that was not what I had asked for. The judgemental eye glares is what really topped it off. I have been a long time reitmans shopper and I can honestly say I will never return to this store again. I was the only customer in this location at the time. Disgusting!!!

Reitmans is usually my go to place for clothing shopping. Living in a rural area I drive 40 minutes to shop in the Owen Sound store. I was very disappointed when told that customers are still not allowed to use the washrooms. I ended up leaving and shopping elsewhere, where by the way washrooms were open to customers. In these times when things are tuff I would think you would look after your customers a bit better. :(

I don’t know what’s going on with Reitman’s buyers. They must have changed personnel. I used to be able to get Hyba t-shirts which wear well, wash well and are great quality, for boot camp. Now when I go in in search of smaller sizes, the stores have no stock at all. I’m really disappointed. I can’t even get long length jeans to fit me as I’ve lost weight.

I don’t think I’ll come back to shop here in the future. Drove from Kincardine today to return some items I ordered online that didn’t work out and to shop in store as well but the staff made me feel so uncomfortable. They were not welcoming at all. The one lady immediately said that I should have received shipping labels for me to return via mail. Of course I did...I know I can mail my return but I’m also allowed to return in store. I used PayPal to pay online and there’s a barcode that’s supposed to be scanned but I was told that the only option was gift card credit. I tried to show the barcode but was dismissed. The person helping me didn’t even bother trying. I purchased jeans afterwards but it was not a great experience because I felt unwelcome. If the things I returned were worn or damaged or altered in any way then perhaps the attitude shown to me were to be expected. But I returned things in the same condition when I received them. I left disappointed. I didn’t realize there’s a Reitmans in Owen Sound until after I made my online purchase and was excited that I could drive in store instead for future purchases but there’s nothing to be excited about anymore.

Great deal today, buy one sweater & get one free. Lady at cash was very helpful & pleasant too. I was doing shopping for myself & my mum so had 2 transactions & the lady was very accommodating. Will definitely shop at the Owen Sound location again.

I shop online alot, as I don't drive. I usually order multiple items in two different sizes andreturn items that don't fit. The in the Owen Sound store rolls her eyes when sh sees me enter the store. It is so uncomfortable that I've stopped ordering on line and will not go to that store. How anyone with customer service skills such as hers gets a manager position is beyond me. The Assistant Manager is amazing.
