have tried to get through to them by phone and they say they have several calls so suggest I call back later - oh, please remind me - this is 'SERVICE CANADA right? wonder what the SERVICE stands for? I went to our local office and the person who helped me was amazing...she was very knowledgeable, polite and patient. I was very pleased with the customer service I received...Thank you..

Worst experience of any government office. They refused service to 90 year old immigrant because of broken English, who provided all her original documents and answered basic questions. Talked to the supervisor and were told to go to Toronto location to get service, this office is for English speaking white people.

I went in with an application for passport along with all the required documents. I had completed the app and the service representative reviewed everything to be sure all was in order. He scanned the identity documents and after I made the payment told me when I could expect my passport. Total time there was no more than half an hour. This was a fast, friendly, and efficient transaction and I appreciate the help.

My complaint is not with this office but with the EI call centre. I phoned this morning and the wait time was 40 minutes. What's wrong with this country when folks are expected to wait on the phone to get a simple answer from a government agency? Clearly the problem is with our MPs who don't improve things they have the power to improve them. This agency should improve there service and offer a call back option whenever the wait time is over 5 minutes!
