Amazing!! Sushi was phenomenal and the selection was huge. Just wish they had more individual rolls, but still, this is the authentic experience!! The foie grais sushi roll is out of this world and highly recommended.Sushi is fresh and delicious so are the oysters! Slightly more expensive than other sushi places but you do get the quality you’re paying for. Would definitely come back next time i am in Vancouver! Kind service as well!

This is our second time here at Kamei and again we are not disappointed. There's alot of Japanese restaurants around here in downtown but i enjoyed going here. Their grilled squid or cuttlefish perfect and its flavourful. We highly recommend this place. The customer service here is so great too. We really enjoyed our dinners here.

Great atmosphere and pretty good food. The value is excellent though. The omakase had real wasabi and a generous amount of good food. Wide selection of drinks as well.The restaurant itself and the staff are very charming!

I was absolutely amazed when I discovered this place recently. It's surprising that I hadn't heard of it before! The moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by the enchanting aroma of authentic Japanese cuisine, and the interior design is beautiful. From the appetizers to the main course, every dish was simply delightful. What added to the overall experience was the servers dressed in traditional clothing, which added an extra touch of authenticity to the Japanese culture. The warmth and kindness displayed by each server made me feel genuinely welcome. I couldn't be happier with my experience here, and I am eagerly looking forward to bringing my friends along to share in this wonderful experience.

This place was pretty expensive but the menu is great as well as the service and the ambiance. They have alcohol too. Highly recommended.

Extremely authentic, right down to the staff clothing and atmosphere. This restaurant has incredible service and everyone is very friendly. The menu is diverse and they have everything if you’re just looking for drinks to dinners catered to special occasions. Highly recommended and I will definitely be returning.

We have a really good time here. During happy hour they served us delicious plates plus very fresh sashimi. Great atmosphere and excellent service.We will be back again!

We ordered their signature lunch items on their menu - unagi and sashimi boat and yakiniku beef boat. Tempura is warm not hot. And taste oily. Sauce on unagi rice is quite salty and does not have much flavour. The dynamic roll has the same issue as tempura - oily. Sashimi is normal. I’m feeling very thirsty the entire afternoon after lunch. I appreciate more authentic and clean taste of Japanese food so therefore not recommended.

Great spot near the major hotels in Coal Harbour.Staff is so friendly and the service is efficient.The Happy Hour was reasonably-priced and the items were delicious.Had two orders of mega rolls ($11.99/8 pcs) and the Takoyaki (photo).The presentation of the food was superb and very beautifully done.

Wonderful! Visiting Vancouver for work and this place was near my hotel. Every dish was just so incredibly tasty.The service was also excellent. I’d love to go back there.
