The people who run the hotel are delightfully sweet. However, they need air conditioning in the units. Way too hot in the suites

Friendly staff, clean rooms, it included a microwave, coffee maker and fridge if I can recalled. Free parking on site. Great view.

Owners were friendly. Rooms were clean. Like everyone else said the coffee here was better then most brand hotel chains. I recently stayed at a hotel in Halifax for 300+ and this motel was way better. Would stay again for the great price and great people who run it ! Thanks again ! See you soon!

Excellent accommodation. The rooms are large and clean. There is a coffee maker in the room. Very quiet for sleeping. The owner is very friendly! Highly recommend this property.

Warm, friendly owners here! Also delicious motel coffee for some strange reason… maybe it’s the view and the fresh mountain air that helps… who knows! We even checked in just past 11 pm and they held our room and were still so friendly. Highly recommend this motel if you visit Cape Breton Island. Stay for 2-3 nights to have easy access to every thing to do in the area!

We stayed for one night and we had a fantastic rest. The room was impeccably clean and the owners were super helpful and friendly.

Beautiful little motel with awesome hospitality. Very clean and comfortable motel close to north Sydney ferry terminal making it convenient when getting off the late one. There are also 2 restaurants near by ( one within the same driveway) and the other just down the road. I would definitely go back if ever in the area again. Thanks for a great stay.

A 14 room motel with a house attached to it. Motel is named after the mountain right across from the motel on the other side. The door to our room is a bit hard to open, needs a strong push to open it. We got Room #5.The room is spacious and smells a bit weird. The bathroom is an alright size. The windows are full length. There's wifi here, though the strength of the wifi gets weaker the farther you are away from the main reception area. There's only 3 light sources in the room, excluding the 1 light in the bathroom. It's rather dim. There's no AC, there's a fan in the room. The screen for the window is broken, so a huge bug got in.The walls are thin. You can hear the flush of the toilet and probably the sound of the shower too. While showering, the water kept on turning cool even though I had it turned on the hot water side. The toilet is broken. It won't flush.The bed is really hard. Great for people who like hard beds. Not great for people who can't sleep on hard beds. Everyone else slept alright. My back hurts. It's good that we only stayed here for 1 night.Staying for 1 night here is enough. Wouldn't recommend staying here any longer.
