Kathy is one of the most generous, caring people - so sweet to our dogs, yet taught us to set boundaries in a firm, loving way. The training at Pepp K-9 has been over the top. The love that Kathy and her assistants have for the dogs well being has amazed me. She has filled me in on important information from choosing the right food to proper dog introductions. My Dog (Henry) has become a respectable dog and receives compliments on how well he is behaved constantly. I couldn't have done any of this with out Pepp K-9 and highly suggest training here to everyone.

Kathy is the most wonderful trainer. She has brought my troublesome Tiff along way.Tiff can be walked now with no trouble and gets along with other dogs.At one time she would want to fight with them and she had a very nervous reaction to situations which has improved .Life for Tiff is so much easier for her thanks to Kathy

I went through basic training with my new Rescue Dog Ciara. Kathy has such vast knowledge with all sorts of dogs and puppies. She had Ciara profiled in no time and addressed her needs, what I was doing wrong as an owner and how to correct my dogs negative behavior's. Kathy uses corrections for dogs that does not go against my own principals. Her training does not intend on punishing the dog physically. It is with reinforcement and treats. So many local trainers believe that harsh treatments get results...that is not the case with K9! I intend to go back to Kathy for further training...yep, me as well.Thanks K9...Kathy...you are Awesome!

Kathy and her staff not only know about training dogs, they love the dogs they train (and the dogs love them back). The classes are small and tailored to the needs and concerns of the group. Kathy is patient and understands that all dogs and dog owners are different. PeppK9 is great for dogs that has issues" (i.e. that are fearful or traumatized)

Kathy is an amazing person and trainer! I adopted a year old Chocolate lab from the Welland SPCA, she was high energy but showed so much potential to be a great dog. I was at my waist end dealing with her separation anxiety, and high energy and wasnt sure what to do other then the possibility of returning her back to the SPCA which I really did not want to have to do. I remembered when I adopted her they gave me a broucher Pepp K-9 and instantly looked them up and read reviews, based off such good reviews I joined the Facebook group and immediately posted that i was looking into help for my dog and was wondering if someone could message me for further details. Kathy messaged me back very promptly! And followed up a few hours later for a long phone call in which she listened to me cry and told me it was okay to feel like this and that I was doing the right thing calling her and asking for help! She gave me some advice over the phone and some tricks to try between the few days we spoke over the phone until she could come meet Bella and further assess the situation. It was a long few days for me and Bella but Kathy came, she spent an hour with us, and of course Bella wouldn't show the behaviour was normally giving me but Kathy was able to get more of a feel for her and how we were together. She showed me different tools and tricks to use with her. She was there for me after that as well, answering any questions I had, offering me moral support and training information in prompt manner! I am so thankful and happy to have met Kathy and have her help Bella and I continue our bond. These last 2 months have been overwhelming but Kathy had faith is us both, that we could overcome it and we are definitely doing just that! She is one of a kind and has a special connection with dogs! She is by far going to my go to recommendation to anyone looking for training in the future!!!

Fergus is a pup who speaks his mind regardless of whether or not you want to hear it! While we haven’t completely tackled this yet, Kathy was able to give us some techniques to help his progress. He loved taking classes and excelled at learning new things like “wait” and “look”, and can now walk on a leash politely. Kathy’s first job was teaching us how to teach him which has helped immensely in his training.
