I took my old Mustang to Gary to get a “once over” before the summer started. It was my first time at his shop. I knew once I saw his grey hair, that he was the right man for the job. We made an appointment, he looked at my Mustang, he went over what it needed, I approved, and he ordered the parts. Where Gary really impressed me was when the parts were on back order, he took the time to update me on them so that I was always in the know. Once they arrived, he did the work, charged a fair price, and I drove away happy. He has a great shop, a great team, and runs a great business. Thanks for everything Gary.

I made the mistake of going to a chain for an automotive repair and had an awful experience that left my car in the same state it was before I brought it in. I found a thread in the KW subreddit about mechanics in the area, and Gary’s was mentioned as an honest, reliable shop who prioritizes customer service and quality while keeping it cost efficient for the customer. This could not be more true.I called Friday morning and spoke with Patrick. I explained the problem, he asked if I have any travel plans and when I said I am going on an 8000km road trip next week he was able to find time that afternoon for me to bring my vehicle in for him to look at. He promptly identified the issue and I was able to bring it in yesterday for repair. Thankfully it drives like a dream now and was less than I was expecting to pay.I’m obviously overjoyed that my vehicle is in working order again, but what really sold me was on Friday when Patrick said he looked over my vehicle and it didn’t need any new parts, just 2 new tires and an alignment. This was absolutely the opportunity to try to upsell me on other repairs and I was so desperate I would have gone along with anything, but he didn’t. I couldn’t be more grateful. I’ll never go to any other mechanic going forward. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I am so relieved.

Great and honest service. First time took my car there 20 years ago and the quality of service remained same high over the years.

Gary and his team do great work, very honest with what needs to be done today or 6 months from now. As all great companies plan ahead cause they are busy. Thanks Gary for all your help over the years!

The service was quick and lovely staff. I was in a rush to get to work, so I assumed I didn’t need to check up things. Only thing that concern me was one of my tire was significantly low on air. I’ll either have take time of work again to get it fixed, or pay extra to a shop near me to get it fixed. Either way, would have been nice if they had checked everything thoroughly.

Honest, reasonable, skilled, and kind! What more could you look for? I have taken my Mazda to Gary’s (as well as my previous car) for many years. He is ultra helpful and never talks down to me, and I know I’m getting exactly the service my car needs. I just took in my car for some help with the battery and power steering, and Gary was so kind and generous about it. I’ve even had my husband switch mechanics to Gary’s for his SUV. I recommend to anyone!

Gary and his team has been keeping my older vehicles running for years now! Honest, cost effective, and will help you if you're in a bind. Can't recommend highly enough!

Gary has been my mechanic for over 30 years. He is the most honest mechanic I l know.Long story short... several years ago a coworker drove over a parking block and wrecked the underside of the van.Took it to dealership. They quoted $2500 to replace the undercarriage.I took it to Gary. He FIXED it rather than replaced it. $75.Never go to the dealership!

I had been taking my car to the dealership for everything in the past, but when they gave me a $1,000 + quote for brakes replacement, I decided to get a second opinion. And that is how I happened to discover this wonderful place called Gary’s Automotive! They were recommended to me by someone and so I went there. Gary inspected my car and told me the brakes were fine. He didn’t even charge me for the inspection. This was my first experience a couple of months ago. This week I had my second experience here. I took my car here for something else and Patrick helped me out. Initially they had suspected that a part might need to be changed (would have been a bill of about $300) but after a detailed inspection today, Patrick told me that it wasn’t required and that everything was okay. They could have easily changed the part and billed me for it. But that’s what makes these guys different - their stellar work ethic. Patrick was extremely nice, courteous and professional. Again, I wasn’t charged anything. Most other places will charge you just for hooking your car up to a computer, but not these guys. They are something else. There’s a reason why the word HONEST has been used for them in almost every review here, because they truly are! I cannot recommend them enough and am so thankful that they exist. Will never take our cars to any other place ever again! Thank you Gary, Patrick and team for being so awesome!

I can't say enough about Gary and his team. Honest, trustworthy, skilled - great service and they always look for the most cost effective solution. I have been taking my vehicles to Gary's for years and I am always impressed. That kind of reliability is hard to find in the service industry! I feel lucky to have found them and have them near by!!
