Great experience and great service at this restaurant. They have a variety of drinks and this place would be great for parties and large groups as well. Have been here twice now and found out that Li-Ao Sushi in Nolan Hill is also a sister restaurant. Looking forward to trying Li-Ao soon based on the great time we had here!

This is a great quiet place to come enjoy food with family and friends. The service was fantastic, the hot pot was amazing. The tuna we ordered wasn't the best quality but over all I would recommend coming here for some delicious Asian cuisine.

Our 2nd time here and the food was just as great as the first time. Loved the service too - I asked for reccos and our waitress, Mia, went into detailed taste profiles of her recommendations (not many waitresses do that). Not only that but she was super attentive - I had a bad west coast oyster but didn’t say anything… she noticed it on the plate while clearing dishes and they brought out another plate for us… without us even complaining!! Thank you Mia for making that such a great experience!Fun atmosphere, tasty food, good variety selection (portion sizes are good too) and great service - highly recommend!

Variety in the menu was great, loved that I could pick what I wanted without sticking to only Korean, Chinese, etc. Food was delicious and presentation was beautiful. Had the hot pot and stone meat platter to share, perfect amount for 2 people to share. Owner came out to say hi at the end and was very kind. Will be back!

Underwhelming and mediocre tasting dishes. It’s all displayed nicely but a lot of dishes are bit bland. Rolls are super simple and a little bland. Pork bone soup has a strange taste. I guess the only acceptable dishes were beef tataki and raw oysters. Their oysters are a good price.

I came here for dinner recently. In terms of food, I tried their Deluxe Sashimi, Seared Salmon Roll, Korean Beef Tartare, Szechuan Mala Fish, and Taiwanese Braised Pork on Rice. All of the dishes were at least decent. The Deluxe Sashimi and Seared Salmon Roll stood out the most. Note that the server forgot two of the dishes, and I think it was the same for another table when I was there.

We went there without realizing it was a new management to order the chicken skin as a treat for my son. The previous restaurant used to sell a overwhelming box of deep fried chicken skin for $5 (it’s chicken skin right, so it costs nothing!). This time we got the package and paid $12 w GST. My son opened the box right away in the car and there were 4 invisible skewers with 4 tiny pieces of chicken skin attached! (See picture!) I went immediately back inside to complain about the double price for that minimal quantity and they say, we are a new restaurant, period. Not even 1 attempt to say, sorry, we can take the box back and refund your money if this is not the product you were expecting. What a great customer care! If you go for take out check the box before paying!!

The overall rating of food is excellent. Lots of choices ranging from Chinese Japanese Korean food. This is one of the very places where they make a lot of varieties, but the food is still very good. I have a recommend eastern coast oyster which has a sweeter taste than the westerns and you must dip the fresh lime juice with the oyster. Overall cleanliness of the dining area and washerwoman area is good. However, sushi rice is a little bit hard. The tuna cut was still frozen so I don’t recommend eating sushi or sashimi here but the oysters, is a must-have. It is fresh and tasty. Chinese hot pot and stirfry is also very good.

Visited for the first time and had great service throughout. Staff was very nice and attentive. Ordered the Korean Beef Tartar, Assorted Sashimi, Taiwanese Braised Pork on Rice, Sauerkraut Sliced Fish.First time having tartar paired with pair slices, it was light and refreshing. Sashimi was good quality and super thick cuts, so worth. Braised pork was simple but hearty, paired with pickled daikon definitely helped cut the greasiness of the pork belly. The sauerkraut sliced fish was good, flavor was bold, a little too much peppercorn for my liking though. Fish quality was really good though.Would go back to try more dishes!

A fantastic restaurant with even more amazing staff! Food quality and portions are top notch and at good price points. Atmosphere is welcoming, lively and fun as well! Kevin and his team provide a high quality dining experience, alongside being very friendly, welcoming, and overall amazing hospitality! I will definitely be coming back again in the future!
