I had their special four-course menu as part of Montreal à table last Sunday. It's a cozy byow restaurant with great service. I enjoyed their braised mushroom starter and the sorbet as palate cleanser, but the rest of the course was underwhelming. The risotto, despite being flavorful, was very undercooked and the cheese platter I got as my last course was just two pieces of cheese :') Overall, I still enjoyed my night at Monsieur B and would return to give their usual menu a try.

Came here for the annual pre-Christmas dinner with my housemate. Both of us had the tasting menu. The food was great and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was a little bit small so it can get really loud at times, hence I did not give it five stars. Also, this is a bring your own wine restaurant so don’t forget your bottle!

Was not a great experience.Table of 4 - 3 ordered the pork and that’s exactly what we received. I dry piece of pork with no side. We were told the chef didn’t have the side so he would give us a small order of fries to share between 3 people.Not sure why the chef thought 3 plates missing sides would be equal to a small fries.They had no beer glasses, so had to drink beer from a wine glass , also lock didn’t work on the washroom door , had to place my foot so one one would enter. Discovered this when I walked in on a guest using the restroom.Won’t be back

OMG we did the 6 course tasting menu and it was mind blowing. One of the greatest retaurant experiences of my life. We had to go at 5:30 to get a spot but it was absolutely worth it. Restaurants like this are why I love living in the plateau!

A+ for the service and the warm welcome. We had the 6 course meal and every bite was a delight. Service was quick ( 2 hours) and for that price, it's worth it!The decor was cozy and you have a nice view of the sector.Will recommend to anyone that loves the byow formula and a good time.

Monsieur B is an intimate French bistro with fabulous food and service. Being able to bring your own wine without a corkage fee is very nice. I would highly recommend having dinner here, the Bison Tartare is amazing!
