Friendly, helpful family business. Felt like old-school auto service.

Very bad experience. Awfull customer service. He replaced my muffler and got bad within 4 weeks. No empathy when I told him that his bad service caused my family to be stranded on the highway.

Had our 2015 Chevy Trax Serviced and inspected last week. Excellent communication and Service at a very reasonalbe price.Will recommend this place to others.

Called and got me in within 30 minutes had it fully checked over within 30 more minutes, bright us out, showed exactly what was wrong, explained how he would fix it, and did the job. No complaints.

THIS IS THE PLACE!When the GMC dealership tried to royally rip me off on a water pump for my 07 Yukon I looked around for shop nearby who could do the job for a reasonable price. Was I ever glad I found Minute Muffler & Brakes! I usually do my own repairs so I know it's done right and to save some money, but my tools were packed away deep in my trailer as we were moving across the country. They really came through for us and I wouldn't hesitate bringing any of my vehicles here for repairs again. Breakdowns are usually costly, but compared to the competition this place really shines. Highly recommend giving them a call before wasting your time and money elsewhere.Thanks again for helping us out on such short notice! We made it the rest of the way to Victoria without any issue

Don't go there. They're crooks and accused me of greasing my own tires. They were weird and creepy and extra shady. I had to go back 3 times and fight with them and they also could have killed me because the brake job they claimed to do was not done properly and brake fluid was leaking all over my wheels. That's when they claimed I greased my own tires. BEWARE. Stay tuned for more fake reviews from their family and friends. But seriously this place is the worst I've ever been!

Elliot Did an mazing job diagnosing my car.I was traveling through Trail on Holiday and he replaced my fuel pump and other stuff needed to get me and my family home safely. Many mechanics in the area wereon Holiday but he stepped up and took care of me right away. HE ALSO SAVED ME BIG BUCKS IN THE PROCESS AND WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. I have put 500 miles on my truck since and my truck is running great.I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely horrific work. Only tack welded the tail pipe on to the muffler in two spots, didn’t even prep it to weld, fell off two months later. Not only an inconvenience for me but dangerous for other people on the road.

I took in an older suburu outback that need some new brake lines fabricated. The original job was more complicated but they kept all the work within my budget even with the extra work that was needed. Very professional and honest mechanic!

Friendly, helpful, dedicated. All around great service. Had an emergency electrical failure and he was the only one in Trail or Castlegar that was willing to work on it. Stayed late on a long weekend to get me back on the road. Super appreciate it, dude! Thank you! Two thumbs up, for sure.
