Gatzke Orchard

Came here a few years ago for a wedding and it was a positively fairy tale-esque venue. That brought us back this trip for a visit, however when you’re not going for an event there isn’t much to do besides just shop the store. Still, the fruit is fresh and juicy, and the baking & honey available is superb. Just plan your visit as a store and not activity.

This is a pretty nice place to make a pit stop if you're on your way to or from Penticton. A bit off the beaten path so perhaps a bit easy to miss if you don't normally stop in lake country. It's worth making the detour for. The wait staff are always amazing. The menu is also nice - the pizza is really the standout naturally but it's really all about the ambiance & enjoying a unique spot to eat under the grape vines.

My step daughter, her fiance, my husband and I were hoping to plan a wedding at the Orchard in July 2017. We went and looked at the facility (which was lovely - perfect) and then sat down with a lady named Bobbie who was wonderful - very helpful and a pleasure to work with. We spent close to 3 hours there looking at the facility, going over details for the wedding/reception and going over the menu. Very time consuming and very stressful for the bride and groom - a lot of decisions to be made. The kids were told that Bobbie would have to run everything thru Deb and that they would get back to my step daughter within a few days and let them know if everything was a go ... it is now August 15th - a month and a half since we met with them and we have never heard a word back from them. This is very stressful for a young couple trying to plan their wedding and also very unprofessional ! For this reason I would never recommend Gatzke Orchard for any function - very disappointed in the way they conduct their business .. not good at all ..

My best friend booked her wedding for next year and just had it cancelled with no explanation. Obviously, these people do not care or get any joy hosting weddings at their venue and are only in it for the money. Please do not book your wedding here and risk the heartbreak my friend and her fiance are experiencing. Shame on you Gatzke Orchard!

It's our favourite place! Good price, fresh fruits and amazing pizza

My understanding is that bumbleberry pie is made up from a few different berries and the addition of Rhubarb or strawberries.The one we bought looks like alot of apple filler in it concentrated in the entire middle of the pie with a few berries around the crust.If it wasn't for the nice thin crust 1 star would have been more appropriate

This is such a great farmers market / lunch and icecream place. We stopped for icecream and I had salted caramel ice cream. My new favorite.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!! My dear friend booked her wedding at this venue, and after months of them counting on this place, they just cancelled with zero explanation. The people working here could not have been more unprofessional if they tried. This is a major milestone for my friends lives and after months of planning, it’s all in the air becuase of these awful people. Shame on you Gatzke Orchard!
