Lunitas Mexican Eatery
We were 2 couples and every dish was superb. Color, arrangement, fragrance, texture and unique flavor. The margaritas were also excellently crafted and delicious. Service and setting couldn't be beat.

The quality of the food is really good and the size of the portions are great. The margaritas are a must have and the service is super friendly. Definitely a place to go in Gibson

Normally I love this place so this time was SO disappointing. It took almost 50 minutes to just get guacamole and chips and the guacamole was insanely slathered in red onions inside and out. It was WAY too overpowering. It took another 40 minutes for the food to arrive, and our order was wrong (gave us deep fried tofu instead of fish). They offered to make it again, but we didn't want to be there another hour and a half so thankfully they took it off the bill and I shared my dish with my friend but we left hungry and disappointed. My entrée was also slathered in huge amounts of onions that overpowered the entire dish. The only flavor I tasted was onion. I'm not sure what was going on that night but I'm not terribly keen on going back anytime soon. Not the restaurants fault - but there was a couple at the table next to us with children who screamed almost the entire time and we were literally 2' from them so needless to say, not a nice night to remember.

Waterfront bliss with sunny patio and happening scene.Owners are lovely and bring local Mexican cuisine knowledge learned first-hand in Mexico back to treat us in Gibsons.The queso fundido is served with four fresh salsas - perfect on a hot day.Don't miss out on the Mexican street corn...hands down a favorite.

Lunitas is a fantasy!!!! Their location is absolutely an ideal for a date night. Their food was extremely delicious and they had the top customer service. The host welcomed everyone with the most enthusiasm that I have ever seen. Her interaction was super friendly and she made us wanting to try the restaurant regardless of the long wait. Their staff was all friendly as well and they took care of us super well.We had 2 chicken tacos to start, they were very tasty. The quesadilla and the burrito were brilliant, the portion was enough to fill up 2 people. They also have a variety of drinks and they all looked interesting. The cocktail and mocktail that we ordered were very refreshing.We recommend everyone to visit their place, to enjoy their food and have the best experience like we had.

Just grabbed a drink and sat on the patio to stare at the ocean awhile! Killer view! Lovely selection of cocktails and non alcoholic beverages! Staff were delightful!! I will try the food next time I visit as the menu looks good!

Great patio and view, good service and great food. I had the mini chimichanga it was amazing. The queso fundido was not my favourite but everything else was top shelf.

Friendly staff, great location, fantastic Mexican food - light, fresh, and incredibly tasty. I lived in Mexico for a year and have very high standards when it comes to Mexican food. this place meets them, and then some! Highly recommend! (We got the shrimp bowl, chicken bowl and beef quesadilla)
