Ben and Saras of Tiny Town Daycare are two of the most amazing people I have ever met. My daughter has been attending Tiny Town for over three years and has loved every day. She never wants to leave. The teachers are so caring and patient. The kids are always doing structured activities. 3 of my co-workers have also using Tiny Town and have had the same amazing experience. We interviewed many daycares but this one is absolutely better than any other daycare we interviewed.

If anybody is considering going to Using this daycare please advise you to stay away from it my daughter was very badly mistreated there in so many ways I’m not going to say but they were pretty serious the owners are not as nice as they come off as they are they definitely did not take good care of her when she did go there so whatever you do do not send your child to this daycare I’m shocked that they’re still open and I’m telling everybody this is because I’m a parent and I know how protective we are of our children do not recommend this place to anybody thank you for reading this

Had a worst experience, teachers are nice however owner is so money minded that even if your kid's health is deteriorating while being in day care due to negligence of the staff, even then they would not return a single penny and but blame on your kid that your kid was like that only when joined. I wrote note strictly to give my son luke warm water as he had really bad cough and cold (he had cough cold after one week of his admission in daycare, and last long for 6 months), but even then he was always given chilled water. When told the owner, straight away she bluntly said u never told us. When the note ( luckily which was still there in my son's cabinet) was shown to her then just ignored the whole situation. Before pulling him out of day care, i barely sent him for the full month, but owner was not even sorry for her behaviour. It's just a business for her. Also the sleeping beds are so close that if one kid has some cough and cold, other kid sleeping next to him will definitely catch the infection. Teachers do not have space to sleep while kids are taking nap. They sleep anywhere between kids beds wherever they find space. This daycare should restrict maximum number of kids as per space, owner should treat kids as her own grand kids and should not try to fill her pockets even if there is full space crunch in daycare.

Very bad experience. I come and gave Sarah $600 deposit. And then on the 31st Oct I come to gave her tuition fee $850 (even though she even do not know who I am and did not call me or remind me about my kid paper work or anything, I just come) and said we will start on Nov 2. But Nov 1 I have something coming up and I call her. But then she been sick for 1 week and not come to the daycare. I call Kent and ask if he can help me to talk with her about my situation, and my kid will not come even for 1 day!. Today (8 Nov) I come and talk with her about our situation, she decide to refund $600 deposit, no refund $850, cause she said she need to secure the spot for my kid. But then I think she should refund $850 instead of the deposit $600.All parents must be careful with the decision. Daycare are in high demands in Vancouver, but do not put your child in the place that we do not feel safe.

All the staff are amazing at Tiny Town! Our 2 and a bit year old has been going for over a year now and loves it! Often more than being picked up even. Don’t let the negative voices out weigh the positive experiences overall.

Just to offer another perspective in light of the bad review. We have been using Tiny town since 2014 with both my children and the care has been great. My oldest has severe asthma and care with her medications has been consistent and perfect when needed. I maintain communication with the staff on our needs. That being said, I keep my child home if they are ill and don't expect the staff to provide nursing care. It is very hard when little ones are sick all the time. I understand the frustration, but it's part of developing their immune systems and kids don't have good hygiene skills yet.I find the staff and owners to be caring and the faculty clean and well maintained. I interviewed 5 daycares and toured 3 and this one was the best for us in terms of space, staffing, hours and pricing.I will say though that this daycare is a little old school, they don't have a Facebook page, don't do email or have web cams, BUT my little ones don't watch TV there either and they have lots of outdoor space to play.I like that the class rooms all have their own separate bathrooms and fridges for infection control. Sometimes it's a matter of finding the right fit of both expectations and needs.

My child was deemed difficult to work with as a result she was rejected. It's my interpretation that they were blaming her for her behaviour thus creating reluctant relationship. This is a typical conclusion that has roots in western philosophy that fosters exclusion then inclusion. I would have like to have seen esteeming labels that would have been helpful. If your a parent that has concerns about the approaches to child rearing practices this is a red flag because their was a resort to negative theories of behaviour when the staff where under stress
