This is my 2nd time trying Rekha’s. The first time I tried the biryani the rice was a bit over-boiled but the spices were nice. This time it was over-boiled and lacking in spices, especially salt.The butter chicken was very watery, and not the authentic, creamy taste that butter chicken is supposed to be. Also lacking salt! It tasted more like a curry chicken, not butter chicken.Overall disappointed and will not return again.Try Mumbay Grill in Ajax. Best butter chicken ever!!!

I always compare food in Durham with what we had available growing up in Scarborough cause let's face it finding different ethnic food here is difficult. This did not disappoint! Delicious. Not greasy and well priced. Butter chicken on point along with everything else we ordered.For the amount of food you get the value is amazing. Great family easy to talk to and you can taste their passion in the food. I wish it was spicier that's probably the only bad thing I could say.Will be coming back!

I'm happy with the food taste and it was great. I ordered Masala dosa, combo and vegetable pakoda. They gave masala dosa along with chutney and sambar. It was tasty but chutney was extremely spicy. Spice level can be reduced. The combo quantity is very less and also pricey for that less quantity. Vegetarian food taste good. This is a nice take out place their quantity can be increased and I recommend this place. I will visit again.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I had the chicken biryani.The portion was generous the price was reasonable and it was delicious. I will definitely return to try more of your tasty food.

We ordered takeout a few weeks ago for lunch and I was extremely disappointed. The only plus would be that the lunch special price was good. The butter chicken was the most flavourless, watery butter chicken I’ve ever tasted. I didn’t like that you weren’t able to customize the spice level either as I usually request extra spicy. I also wasn’t a fan of the Chana masala as the flavours were meh - although, it was better than the butter chicken. Didn’t even finish the food and threw it out (along with others in the group).
