This place is dirtier than Trudeau's cabinet. Meat prep is back to back with produce prep. Cleaning is lackluster and handwashing is rare.

I live nearby and visit this store occasionally when I’m in a pinch for an ingredient or two as the prices are quite high. It’s a great little store to have nearby, however, today the guy at the checkout counter was very rude to me. I’ll be avoiding coming here after that.

We are so lucky to have Sunshine here! The staff is always warm and welcoming and they have such a great mix of prepared food, specialty items, awesome muffins, beautiful well priced flowers, good little coffee station, farm fresh eggs, great bread brought in . The produce guy does an awesome job - everything is always organized and fresh. Honestly it’s a gem - thankful we get such a special little market to ourselves here in the mission.

This store has changed and developed a lot since I moved here almost 4 years ago. The produce and 'international' options are far higher quality and there is far more variety than there was originally. The staff do their best, even under tough circumstances with lunch-hour rushes of teens and construction crowds. The past few years have been tough on all small businesses and they keep doing their best with supply chain and covid protocols. I will shop here over Save-On any day, despite it being a little more expensive... it's a local shop that does their best making their own way. That's where my money should go.
