Work related stress is connected either indirectly, or directly with so many things outside of my work life. Shahla was amazing in helping me regain balance with how I felt, and approach change in how I think. If one had to seek her services, I would always approach with an open mind and an open heart, even if it is at least a little bit. I would definitely meet with her again for any day-to-day rebalancing of my mental well-being!

Update; The owner, Shahla called me few hours after my comment below. She was so regret about what happened and kindly offered me an hour complimentary consultation. Her customer service is appreciated.Disappointing... I booked an online consulting with Setareh Seyedi on Jan 29 at 12:00. Got 30 min online (they already sent me a Jane link) but she didn't show up. Left a voice message on the office number but nobody called me back on that period of time.

RUN!! DO NOT GO THERE.I came to you for help, you dropped me like a bag of dirt, canceled on me more times than I can count, switch counselors on me, you never call back, and when I get a hold of them they say oh I'm so sorry it totally slipped my mind??? They are not here to help, they are here for your money.

Should have read the reviews first. Therapist rescheduled my initial appointment day of, but when I arrived to the rescheduled appointment, the building was locked and she was no where to be found. I waited outside in the cold for 30 minutes, texted and called her cell multiple times, called the Water Lily office, and emailed with absolutely no answers. When she finally called me back 30 minutes after the appointment (at this point I had left), I explained the situation but instead of being apologetic/empathetic she was like, well did you buzz yourself in?". I was given no buzzer information prior to my appointment and the buzzer directory did not have the office info. I asked why she couldn't be reached for so long into my appointment and she evaded my question

Shahla is such a great counsellor! I have been working with her for a year due to anxiety following a car accident and was also diagnosed with post concussion syndrome and had symptoms similar to PTSD. She walks side by side with the client and help go through the journey together instead of letting the client have the full responsibility on this difficult journey. She is very patient, genuine and empathetic to the point where I was looking forward to my sessions and felt like we had a strong rapport/ connection which also helped me realize how resilient I am. It’s been a year since I’ve known Shahla and I can strongly say that she has empowered me in so many ways- assuring me when I needed validation but also allowing me to be intune with my emotions and affirming that it is truly acceptable to feel that way. Now that I am doing much better, soon will be our termination session, on the other hand, I’m sad yet, I know I can always count on her if I encounter another barrier in my life. Thank you for taking this venture together and allowing me to have control of my steering wheel! Your kind and supportive words will always linger in my head lively!

Few months ago my nephew passed away. My sister was in very bad situation. Actually it was a big tragedy/trauma for her. One of my friends introduced Shahla to me as a reputable psychologist. Now after a few sessions my sister is much better and somehow she can continue her normal life. I sincerely thank Shahla and appreciated her efforts in this regard. I wish you to be more successful in your future endeavors to help people.

I called twice, left two messages, but no one called me back to book the appointment. My previous sessions were not good either, no suggestion or advice after three sessions with Shahla.Update: I complained to ComPsych and ComPsych will deal with it, since it's difficult to reach you.

Shahla is beyond amazing. I’ve been going to Water Lily for years, and sessions with her have helped me with my depression/anxiety levels immensely.In my experience, Shahla has always been super flexible and understanding- which I appreciate a lot.I’ve recommended her many times, and would so again at the drop of a hat!
