Earth to Table: Bread Bar
Patio season is upon us.This was a beautiful little restaurant located in close proximity to a lovely lil park on the river.Drinks were nice, the lemonades are fantastic; I had the raspberry one. It was perfectly sweet and made with real ingredients. The other drink we had was a tequila beverage, but I did not partake. I was told it was a bit strong but it was still enjoyable.Good food with fresh ingredients is the best way to describe the lunch we had. Came piping hot with very good portion sizes, and the food tasted incredible and you can tell it was made with fresh produce and ingredients.

We were there for Mother’s Day brunch. It was excellent! I love the idea of small plates alongside a buffet. It gives you an opportunity to try different foods without being wasteful. Everything tasted great ! The curry dish was my fav. Our server Courtney was great. The whole vibe of this place was so cool. It’s a gem ! Definitely going to go there for dinner this summer and sit on the patio

A hidden gem of Guelph. Always delicious, locally sourced food. Worth the slightly higher price tag for the quality and local ingredients they offer!The large pizzas are LARGE and can feed 3-4 people. Small could easily be eaten by one person. Really hard to go wrong here, so many delicious options! They also sell their pizza dough to take home and make your own!

Absolutely fabulous all-you-can-eat brunch! Half of it is buffet style, the other half are tapas plates - perfect for tasting everything on their menu!$49/pp includes two bar drinks and unlimited tea or coffee.Menu selections were categorized into sweet or savoury and you could order two items per 'round' on the tapas menu or hit the buffet as often as you wanted.The food we tried was all very well thought out. The standard breakfast items were elevated with small tweaks and they added Asian fusion items to their savory choices to add even more flair.105 minute table limit - which didn't take much effort for us to get to.The atmosphere was lively but not loud. A good mix of ages in patrons.The menu changes depending on a few factors - so the posted pics may not be what's offered - use as a guide.The servers were very helpful and knowledgeable of menu items and were very friendly and fun.*Shout out to Jess who is studying Criminal Justice.We were recommended here by a local realtor (we're not from the area) and he got it spot on.Sharing with you to keep the chain of good vibes.10/10*Oh they also sell cookbooks! I forgot to buy one - but they look amazing as decorations in the restaurant!

IMO, THE BEST DINING in Guelph if you dig funky, EXCELLENT food in a hip atmosphere! The Umami Burger with the truffle aoli and the Parmesan crisp was unique and exceptional; the gourmet pizza was top shelf; the calamari appetizer and the fries were also near perfect. Brendan provided well as our server - thanks Brendon!The patio is highly recommended if weather allows!

Okay these loaded fries were unreal. They change every day I think but oh man was it filling and a delicious cheat snack. The pizza was perfect, love the crust and topping options. It is a little pricey but it is a beautiful location, has a great patio, the indoor vibe is very nice and overall I can see what the hype is all about. Can’t wait to go back to start enjoying the patio this summer! Happy that Guelph has this located conveniently on Gordon Street near downtown. Just down the starry from the university.

Dining at the Bread Bar in Guelph was a delightful experience. Their Hogs and Kisses pizza was scrumptious, with a well-balanced flavor profile that was undeniably addictive. The Skinny Fries were a standout - perfectly soft with a desirable crispness. Service was top-notch - attentive, friendly and efficient. I've been here multiple times, and each visit consistently exceeds expectations. Highly recommended for quality, ambience and service!

10/10 would recommend going to this place. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a beautiful patio. The service was amazing, and the FOOD oh my. We wanted to try a bit of everything so we had the muscles, the margarita pizza and the buccatini pasta. Everything was so fresh and flavourful. I don’t know what was in the pasta sauce but I could eat it 7 days a week. Definitely don’t miss out on this place. It gets pretty busy, so if it’s the weekend I’d suggest booking a reservation on their website.

One of the few restaurants in Guelph not to have a preset New Year’s menu - THANK YOU FOR THAT ~~ we were very happy for this as were many others; it was packed. We booked our table on Open Table a few days ahead to make sure we could go at our desired time.Not the first time we come here and it has yet to disappoint! The ambiance and the food are always spot on.Three of the four people in our party had pizzas, which is never a bad decision here. Today we had the Bee Sting, Apple and Bacon, and Classic Pepperoni pizzas. All three were awesome, made fresh with the best of ingredients.The Classic Pepperoni pizza is our usual go-to… the rustic crust is thick and cooked to perfection with the right amount of “overcooked” crusty pieces!The last dish was our second go-to when we come here… The Taco Bowl. I’ve had this dish a few times and each time, it was served slightly differently but each and every time equally as succulent. This time, I added the short rib which was well cooked and very well seasoned.We finished the meal with two B52 coffees and a slice of Cappuccino Cheesecake. The perfect ending to a perfect meal amongst loved ones.Our table was right next to the bar and kitchen so we were entertained by the bustling of the staff coming and going. Surprisingly, from what we could see, some if not most of the kitchen staff did not appear to be wearing hair nets. It is entirely possible that we couldn’t see them from our table but there were at least a few of the young guys whose longer hair definitely did not appear to be under a net as they wore baseball caps with hair wings escaping below the cap.Aside from this last observation, this and any other restaurant managed by the Pearle Hospitality Group is undeniably well worth it - the creativity of their culinary and management teams is sure to make most people feel like they’re in food heaven.

Delicious food and great service. I love the umami burger and the loaded fries never disappoint! Will definitely come back again. We also got the special pizza of the day and it was great!
