Not only were you all accommodating to our needs but supportive during this difficult time. We are thankful you were there for our family from pre-planning through to aftercare.

A big recommendation for George Darte Funeral Home. They took very good care of the funerals for both of my parents 13 months apart. The 2nd funeral was arranged and that was a huge relief for me when the time came to make that call. The team at George Darte were compassionate, helpful and caring. Thanks so much for making an emotionally difficult time, a little bit easier.

As a fellow funeral home manager, I appreciated the organization and thoughtfulness to detail of George Darte and his team on a recent tour. From a boot-shining appliance in the men's washroom to a fan above an incense-burner in the chapel, they provide for their guests wonderfully.

Did an amazing job coordinating service for my Great Grandma's Funereal. They are flexible with what you need. The team here also put in the extra effort to make moments special. Especially during visitation. Shout out to Iain, Connor, Lindsay, Mary and the rest of the team! You are all wonderful people. :)

Went to arrange funeral for my father. The funeral director we spoke with was rude, seemed to snub her nose down. She must have mentioned that the funeral everything would have to be paid up front (like we don’t know that or can’t afford that) at least 10 times. she was cold and we were severely put off by her. My dads brother was going to put the entire funeral on his credit card, but we decided to go with another funeral home instead. EVEN if it costs more! This woman ( her name was Corina) was just all business, itemizing everything and her SOLE focus was how much it was going to be. There is a way to approach delicate matters, and a way not to, and SHE definitely went about handling the technicalities of their service fees the wrong way. And what type of person my dad is or any warmth was not there. Just cold like she’s been doing funerals for easy too long. I 1000% do not recommend this funeral home unless you want to spend your time going through how much each and everything costs, and in a rude way, not a good way. It’s all about how much money they can make off you there.

My family and I were so happy with making our decision to celebrate my husband’s life at George Darte Funeral Home. The staff were professional, caring and compassionate to the loss of my love one. It didn’t take long into the process to decide that this was exactly what we were looking for. The visitation, sanctuary rooms had the capability to expand to accommodate a large funeral and also a reception room without leaving the premises with catering availability.It is modern and inviting with its fireplace to welcome your guests. The after care program helped to complete forms and process them directly to the specific destinations.

I found that there was rudeness as well as a lack of compassion towards guests and family in mourning than not. It doesnt matter how big or little finances had been spent everyone deserves compassion at a time of loss. Definately wont be preplanning at this home. This for my sister an brother,who I lost 4 days apart
