Trappers Choice Restaurant
Had a lovely dinner meal here, accommodating staff and decent food. Felt like a very authentic place and they were willing and able to accommodate our son’s food allergies - very helpful. Will be back.

Trappers Choice Restaurant
Tourist trap! Our group of four were camping nearby and stopped into town for what we thought would be a tasty meal. We ended up getting takeout for four dishes (beef liver, chicken souvlaki, pickerel, and ribs). Every single dish was bland, rice was absolutely disgusting, and the side of “vegetables” was a half cob of watery corn. At $25-30 a dish it was a rip off!

Trappers Choice Restaurant
This little restaurant does not look very exciting from the street but the food is great. Most of the staff is courteous. I believe like all of us some have an occasional bad day. My go to menu item is the Flat Iron Steak rare. The appetizers are also delicious.

Trappers Choice Restaurant
I had a reservation for Last Thursday night in the Motel. Having been on the road 12 Hrs I was worn out on arrival. To my dismay adding to my trials of the day my room was not available. The owner however had tried to contact me, and as well had already arranged a room at a nearby competitor. After a quick trip up the road to register my room, I returned for a Magnificent New York Sirloin Strip. Cooked to perfection with Grilled Vegetables and Fresh Garden Salad. I don't remember the young ladies name who waited on me but the service was awesome. The whole experience put a positive note on what had been a difficult day.Thank You to the Owner and StaffRob P

We were greeted with a smile and served by Erica, excellent service!The atmosphere was very unique and a love the small family dinner feel.We had the cattlemens burger and the mad trapper burger, presentation was great and it looked beautiful. Unfortunately I think the burger was a little over cooked/dry but we threw some BBQ sauce on and it was good to go

Very disappointed. Price not cheap, quality just ok. Steak sandwich, the steak is over done. My biggest disappointment is their service - waitresses did not serve my family in a pleasant way. Table is sticky, not a clean restaurant.

If you're reading reviews on this place, trying to decide if you should visit or not...YES you should!! Soooooooo good and I'm so full. If you are fans of food that doesn't taste generic and lovers of the family diner vibe..aka the way restaurants used to be then heck yeah you wanna stop here . The prices aren't above normal and the quality/portions are well worth it. I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers are complaining about in terms of prices.....perhaps they are used to eating at McDonald's or Taco Bell.Trappers use good ingredients, which of coarse costs money. My hubby got the steak sandwich and I got the turkey club....both of which were, as our 3.5 year old son says delicious!). The restaurant is clean

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is very welcoming. The foods delightful. The staff was very friendly. Only reason I didn't give full five stars was are waitress didn't refill our water or check on us if we needed anything. But she could have been having a bit of an off day. Other than that Definitely can't wait to return.

It was amazing experience to be here first time… was worth coming here from Sudbury. Amazing service, humble staff and beautiful ladies.
