I was looking for a while now for a hairstylist that knows how to cut mens hair and l finally found one. Madi is amazing, she cut my hair the exact way l asked her to and took extra care and fine attention to detail, l just love what she did with my hair. Thank you Madi

Janvier salon is highly unprofessional, discriminatory, and lacks integrity. Late last year, my regular hairdresser was sick and referred me to Janvier Salon as she would not be able to do my hair, and I could not wait as I had an important event to attend. Madi at Janvier did a great job, and I loved my hair. Fast-forward to when it was time to get my hair done again, I saw my previous hairstylist, and my desired hair color was not achieved (not the first time) - it was a completely different shade of red! I was not satisfied and needed a correction. I tried to text my stylist for a correction suggestion with no reply. It was the holiday season, so I wasn't offended. I sent Madi a text, and she promptly responded with a temporary solution, which helped. Great! I had been seeing my previous hairdresser for over two years, and after the holiday, she dropped me as a client and refunded my money (Great!). Knowing that Janvier had helped me last time, I reached out, hoping they could help me again. Madi was responsive and even said she could book me an appointment, only to later text me that she could not take me (ever) and that no one at the salon could help me. I found this strange, so I reached out to the owner (Amber). Amber explained in a message that the salon could not take any new clients, and I won't even mention the reason. Interestingly I had two random friends call the salon, and they were taking clients, the girl who answered even told my friend that Madi would gladly take her.It's clear that my previous hairdresser and Janvier colluded to black-ball me at the salon and dressed up the collaboration with some despicable lies. In the end, transparency is always the best policy, and not lying to clients should be a top priority. Good on my previous stylist for refunding my money, but it's pretty despicable that she and Janvier Salon black-balled and lied to a good client. Happy ending for me, I found a great salon that stands behind its work and doesn't lie to its clients.

Amber is seriously the best. I've often returned home from a cut/style in TEARS but not with Amber. She's amazing with colour and takes the time to talk to you about processes and what will work best for YOU as her client. I always look forward to seeing her!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff at this salon. Everyone is extremely professional and make you feel extra special when you come in. Kayte has been my stylist for about a year now, my hair goal was to achieve silver blonde highlights from my dark brown hair. She explained to me the healthiest way to achieve my goal. She has helped me get to my hair goal with minimal damage to my hair. She is an amazing stylist and makes you feel extremely comfortable while you’re in her chair. I highly recommend her and this salon.
