Student Rights Centre

The SRC has time and time again helped students (myself included) from facing unfair decisions by professors or their faculty. As a student facing a serious medical crisis in the midst of a struggle to maintain a CGPA above academic probation, I was asked to withdraw from my program of study. This almost ruined my life and made me fall worse into my already down state-of-mind. That was until someone recommended me to the Student Rights Centre. They gave me the support I needed, showed me how to file an appeal, and gave me the second chance that my faculty was unwilling to do. Every day I think of going to the office and thanking them for helping me through such a time of struggle, and aiding me in completing my degree. The light at the end of the tunnel was faded for me, but the SRC helped me see it again. And for that, I'm forever thankful.
