I went to have some plywood cut for me because I don’t have tools at home and I don’t feel comfortable enough to cut it myself. Unfortunately, I was made fun of by three employees (one retail, cutter, and cashier) because of my lack of knowledge. I get it, I’m a woman presenting person who needs help. But I feel like I shouldn’t be made fun of for it. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

April 25/23Went back for another client return.Quick, efficient, friendly.KHIZER exceeded my expectations!Then I noticed he had an 'in training' badge on. I LOVE great service!Feb 22/23I had to make a return for a client who made an out of province purchase for her dad in Vancouver. I wasn't sure how well this would go. The client called customer service to explain the situation. The returns staff Fred and Mostafa were absolutely amazing, professional, and efficient. Lester helped me move the items from my car to the store. I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes!I have always been a fan of Home Depot and their great service, but this really took things to another level. Makes me wonder why I/we would ever go anywhere else!Thanks guys you are the best!!

My review is based upon my experience with poor customer service.Some background information: on May 10, 2022, I purchased a vertical storage shed from your location. Due to recent bylaw changes, I was required to remove the shed, and the receipt noted that the 90 day return policy ended on August 8, 2022.On April 26, 2023 at 1:44PM, I phoned your location and spoke with a woman who spoke fluent English explaining my situation and asked if I could still return the shed for store credit. This woman agreed and informed me that I can bring the shed back to the Richmond location and the on site staff will assist me with returning the shed for store credit. When I asked this woman for her name, she refused to do so and stated that I won't need it, and that any available staff can help me.Two days later, after spending a considerable amount of time and effort to rent a truck and asking my family members to help me transport the shed to your store, my request to return the shed for store credit was rudely declined by assistant manager Sharif.My dissatisfaction is not from not being able to return the shed, but due to being misled by staff, followed by being treated rudely after spending two days organizing to transport the shed, and also having my time and effort wasted. Had your employee been clear on the phone about not being able to provide an exchange for credit, I would not have gone through so much trouble and spent additional resources to transport the shed.Please properly educate your employees. Their actions demonstrates either ignorance or dishonesty, and reflects poorly on your company brand.Thank you,

I was there to find items for a kitchen renovation. Really clear signs on the appliances. Good variety of kitchen cabinet choices. Good displays to help you get a feel for the finished installed cabinets. Some stores have a staff kitchen consultant to help design your kitchen. Everything you'd need all in one store.

great experience buying a new samsung fridge. from the moment we set foot at the store we were taken care by a lovely lady who explained to us patiently to the installation and adjustment of the fridge. amazing experience altogether!

I just had one of my best experience at Home Depot today. The staff named Vincent who helped me at the plumbing aisle was very knowledgeable and helpful. He pointed out I needed a different hose cap and answered all of my questions. Vincent was super capable and friendly. I’m super impressed!

Alfred from Hardware is an amazing associate and truly cares about his job a lot. Even though he was busy when he helped me he did not rush with helping and rather explained what to do and helped me throughout the process of cutting my keys this afternoon. Deserves a raise!

Home Depots prices and selection blow the only other big box guy away... when I go to the other place I leave empty handed and it's a joke. Every time, since the beginning of time ... Then I drive over to Richmond and find an employee who helps me. Wow, what a concept. She or he walks me over to my thing that I need. Amazing. Then I looked around and found the other hard to find thing for my project that I was making up as I go. A 48 floating shelf and bracketing for $33? Who sells that for that price? The second thing was $4.33. Then the guy at the checkout was trying so hard to help me it was almost too much.... too much help and happiness."
