I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Bridgepoint Hospital, which led me to return for a second time. Several months ago, the so-called 'manager' on the 8th floor ignored the advice and opinions of the doctors who recommended that I should extend my stay at the hospital for a minimum of 2 or 3 weeks. Anjalie Shivakmar, the manager in question, made a poor decision and rejected my request, dismissing the doctors' statements as inconsequential and emphasizing that the decision should be based solely on the occupational therapist's opinion.Given my previous encounter with Anjalie Shivakmar, I specifically requested not to be placed on the 8th floor this time. It is disheartening to see such an unprofessional and frustrating manager working with patients at our otherwise beautiful hospital. I believe it is important for a healthcare facility to have competent and caring individuals in managerial positions, as they significantly influence the patient experience.

The Eighth-Floor manager, Anjalie Shivakmar, has zero skill in being a leader. She was not only unhelpful but also a bully. Our loved one had been suffering so much from cancer pain, plus due to the delayed diagnosis from Dr Yunhoo Kim, she was suffering more from her pneumonia, with symptoms of a cough, mucus buildup, starvation, and dehydration. She was on hydromorphone every 2 hours as needed and was unconscious over 95% of the time. Irresponsible Anjalie Shivakmar did not care for our loved one's condition. Even as she was exhausted and half sleeping, she requested this young and inexperienced Dr. ZhiYe Fei forced her awake to ask her serious and complex questions in front of her family members. Both of them do not understand any of palliative care for the patient and patient's family, and they made our loved one even suffering more.

The TV services have not worked in 2+ months yet we are charged every month regardless. No one seems to care about it. Patients are in their rooms 24/7 and if you don't bring in your own device they have nothing to watch. Please get this fixed, it would be nice for them to be able to utilize a service they pay a lot for.

Nursing care is second to none. Physio Therapy is on the point and has people who really care about the patient.. Carson and Micheal are the best. When you think of hospital food you think of the worst. This is the exception to the rule. I give the kitchen a 85%, great job. Laura the Occupational Therapist is very helpful and goes well beyond her duties.She has the greatest smile, keep up the great work. Dr. Tupper is the most chill Doctor around. He talks to you like a human being, not doctors talk. I made great friends here and will remember this stay forever.Blake Bell

Dr. Rufina (YunHoo) Kim CPSO#: 116171 is heartless and careless. She does not have any integrity to be a medical doctor, (MCC) should revoke her medical license in the province of Ontario, Canada. Due to her delayed diagnosis, ignored our requests exam, to have an x-ray for my in laws. YunHoo Kim even said that my in laws possible to have Covid-19 and she does not want to near to my in laws, my in laws suffered from pneumonia, it caused her had lots of miserable suffering at end of her life. It was totally unforgiveable.

I want to give this nurse Tara @8th floor two thumbs up, she provided not only excellent caring for my mom but also she cares for my mom from her heart, she was gentle, patient, warm. I want this facility knowledge about her skill, awesome personality and kindest services. We want to appreciate her help and support.
