Always On Call Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd

I called for assistance with this company. They claim to be mechanics, but they would make better accountants. After charging for the service call, they sent a mechanic that listened for to the engine for no longer than 15 seconds. He reported that i needed a cam-shaft. He left after informing there would be an additional charge for his wrong diagnosis. I then called a different mechanic on the phone and with a brief description of the problem, I was instructed on how to unplug the cam position sensor. Upon doing so, the engine smoothed and I was able to drive again. I notified this company of the misdiagnosis from the mechanic that they sent. Being that he was obviously was not qualified to do road side repair, he should not be paid on that. Instead of being an honest business, like most, this company added me to a bad customer file, with a note to never assist me for break down. There's 2 sides to all stories. Maybe ask them if they will charge you for a misdiagnosis too. I have given them 1 start because the only thing that they got correct was accounting on the bill. As far as service goes, I'll sit all night and wait for real mechanics to start work before even considering this company again.

This review is for Cody and the excellent service he provided. He drove for hours, on a very snowy March evening to fix a broken light on our Uhaul. My husbands truck broke down on the side of the 401. I looked up a truck repair company and “Always On Call” came up. Their office staff was knowledgeable and prompt. The mechanic arrived when they said they would and got us back in the road. Would definitely recommend them to others.

Completely ripping of people. They charged me $250 just to come to the truck. Some local mechanic in guelph helped me to clear that sensor issue. my truck got started when they reached me. Always on call Mechanic did not even touched my truck . They took photo of my plate and sent me invoice of $250 Not fair at all. I will never use them again. Stay away. If they charged me only for service call($65) i wouldn't be surprised.

Ian arrived promptly to look at our Freightliner. It was imperative that we were able to get it back on the road, being 3 hrs from home.Ian took the time and patience to fix our wiring problems. It took him a few hours but he never gave up or quit in frustration. In the end, it was a faulty fuse (hidden near our truck batteries) and corroded wires which were to blame. Our blake lights and signals are operating again without issue.Thanks again Ian for your help on a Saturday. Would highly recommend this company. Wiring can be a nightmare to figure out. Ian solved it.

This morning, on my way to work, I got a flat tire. Regrettably, I do not have roadside assistance and do not know how to change a tire myself. Feeling very out of my element, and knowing it would be next to impossible to get a tow truck given the ice storm aftermath, I slowly drove my car to a nearby gas station. I wasn't really sure what I was going to do (maybe try putting some air in), when I saw the Always on Call truck. I asked the driver if I could hire him to change my tire, and even though this isn't what they do, he willingly helped me out. He was quick, friendly, and wouldn't even let me pay him. The kindness that was displayed to me today was so humbling. Later this afternoon, I went to get my tires changed, and told them what happened. They asked who helped me, and when I gave the name of the company, theysaid it is one of the only ones they'll use when they have issues with trucks, just because they're genuinely good people". I don't drive a truck or trailer
