Nightingale Park and Campsite

Not a very good location for camping

If you have a toilet in your camper and are looking for a quiet place to park overnight, this is a great rest stop. There are no washrooms/outhouses but it was not a problem for me. I have no complaints and am grateful that the community offers this free campground. The lawn is well maintained and it is clean. The entrance to the campground is a grass entrance to the left of the community hall; it is not paved so you might miss it using google maps. The sites are unmarked but there are 3 picnic tables on a concrete pad with a big firepit in the middle. I am unsure if you can park elsewhere on the grounds; there is a baseball diamond and other grassy areas beyond the diamond. Keep in mind the campground is located between 2 houses but they are far enough away that there is privacy. On one side, there is a view of the prairies. I had a quiet stay and am grateful for the pile of free firewood next to the bleachers.
