Lumineer Light Installations

Unfortunately some other reviews that speak to a disconnect between sales and installation all seem to be true. We fell right into that gap and it means we're not going to have professionally installed lights this year.First - the sales team is fantastic. Matthew replied quickly, communicated effectively via email, provided a complete estimate, and generally instilled a lot of confidence.It all fell apart at installation. The installers showed up with zero knowledge of special circumstances at our house (basically, we have gutter guards - which can't be that uncommon), despite us having sent photos and verified the installation details with Lumineer in advance. They tried to use staples, which we explicitly didn't want, and their overall demeanor was not professional or confidence-instilling.They then ghosted us, with multiple contacts going unanswered, and leaving voicemails that seemed to have no context at all.It's a busy time of year for a seasonal business, but there are very real internal communications and installation issues that Lumineer needs to solve before I could recommend them.

This is the first year we have had Christmas lights professionally installed and I would never go back to DIYing it again. They crew was so professional and responsive. We have an old heritage house with a cedar roof nearing the end and the were extremely careful and used the proper equipment by nailing under the wood soffit and using ears on their ladder so as not to damage anything. It’s awesome because they will send you a picture ahead of time of exactly where you will have the lights and they provide and fixe them for you as well as take down. Totally worth the money if you love having Christmas lights.

I've been using Lumineer Lights for 4-5 years now and have nothing but good things to say! Darwin and his team are super, super nice and accommodating guys!! They arrive before the holidays to put up the lights and return in the New Year to take them down. Life made simple! I certainly won't be climbing my roof to install xmas lights.... what could possibly go wrong!? LOL. I would highly recommend Lumineer Lights to anyone considering an Xmas Light firm to install their lights!! Lumineer Light Installations is an easy, accommodating and friendly company to deal with.Hands down, 5 STARS!!!!

Lights are fine but CUSTOMER SERVICE UNRELIABLE after buying! We purchased lights from Lumineer 3 years ago with the idea of having them come back every year to re-install. Happy to pay for the service. The lights seem to be good. First year after installation we tried calling early (say...Nov) to have them re-install. It was hard to get someone to call me back and I had to call at least a few times. When they finally got back to me, they said they can't install until the week of Christmas. At that point we are thinking...why bother! Now this year I started calling first week of November. I had to call 2 x before speaking to someone (I always leave a message). The person said they will email me the quote...2 days later no quote. I've since called 2 more times...no answer, just left message....no one has called back. It is now Nov 6 and I want an appointment to get my lights installed for this Christmas. Is that too much to ask!?!? Willing to pay too!They claim they send out emails to customers to book light installation in September. My husband and I have been checking our spam mail and there is nothing from them.What's worse, they say if we install ourselves or get someone else to install the lights we purchased from them the warranty is void. Most annoying since I can't even get anyone to call or email me so that I can book them to install the lights!I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY on the basis of poor post sale customer service. They only care about selling the lights and not honor servicing you after.

I used this company last year for a rather large Christmas installation on our house in Burnaby .From the initial phone call to the actual installation, my entire experience was fantastic !So much so that I plan to call them to do my lights again this year!The lady who answers the phone and the three different techs I met ( last year's INSANE snowfall caused a few issues and they stood behind their work and came and maintained the lights for us at NO extra cost to us!) were all kind , knowledgeable and professional.I see their rating is very low due to ONE review bs I don't feel that's fair !I stand behind my review with complete confidence in their work .Thanks for reading !

I had an excellent experience with Lumineer - Matt communicated everything perfectly and answered all of my questions. The gentlemen who did the install did a great job and my family is thrilled with our new lights! It's clear that this is a team of professionals who take pride in their work. Would definitely recommend!

We just had our Christmas lights installed on our new house and it look truly amazing! They definitely did a wonderful job! Friendly, great & professional service. They’re prompt in their response & easy communication when we had any questions. We would highly recommend this company to everyone if you like your house to look fantastic.

First time using Lumineer Light Installations and we are thrilled with the results. Our neighbours have used them for years, so we have benefitted from admiring their great work. Matthew called me within half an hour of submitting an online inquiry. I'm so pleased they were able to fit us in, since everyone seemed to be decorating for Christmas early! Highly recommend them!!
