Brutal customer service. I purchased an Asko Dishwasher and it has been broken for over a month. A technician has come in and has had to order parts for it. It is not even 6 months old and I purchased an expensive dishwasher for the quality. The technician who came in to install it, didn't install it properly either and it leaked into our basement.I am really frustrated and want a replacement dishwasher and Coast told me too bad. Didn't even offer a solution. Super disappointed and won't be ordering from them again.

Nothing but good to say about my experience with Coast South. The moment you walk in the receptionist enquires if you need assistance or prefer to just browse. First time in this was my preference and was quite surprised that I was not hounded by hungry sales type.On my second visit I was ready to talk dishwashers so when ask by the receptionist I asked to to be assisted. Florence Anderson was very quick and professional in determining my needs and and budget. I had done a fair bit of research and had a brand in mind. Our old dishwasher had died so one of the objectives was to get one along with installation and removal of the old ASAP.The brand I was interested in was essentially not available anywhere at any price. Florence was able offer similar brands of equal quality and price range. The following day I sent my wife down to visit Florence and make the final determination of the 3 suggested units as she is a lot more experienced in dealing with contractors that sell and install than I am. Two days later it was installed and ready for use.I can't speak for everyone at Coast but I can say that the ones I interacted with were all shining examples of what a customer service experience should be. From the receptionist to the Sales associate to the installation person, everyone we interacted with exceeded our expectations.I would have problems recommending Coast Appliances South. I also think that Florence Anderson might be one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant sales person I have had had the chance to deal with in a number of years.

Worst experience ever. We bought a new house through Cardel and the experience up to possession day was phenomenal. On the day of possession we had absolutely no appliances except for a microwave. The fridge showed up unexpectedly in the afternoon with no notice to Cardel or to me. A day later they put in a temporary stove and hood fan. The dryer was delivered but the washer was not provided until a week later. The delivery guys just show up at the door with no notice and expect someone to be home. We are now about 3 weeks in our new home and there is still no ETA on the built in oven. The coast delivery guys and installation guys must have visited our home at least 8 times and their still not done. Coast has some fundamental supply chain and inventory issues that they need to sort out as I know for certain I'm not the only one on the block who is having appliance issues. Only positive comment I can add is that Paul and Wayne at Cardel have been very helpful and Andrew Cleghorn has been very responsive in dealing with my concerns.

We ordered a washer from coast appliances 2 weeks before Black Friday, as there was a major sale. The website stated they were in stock at the Calgary location on Ogden road. Ogden road is 5 minutes from my house so I thought it would be a great idea, as even if they ended up being out of stock I’m right down the road. Come December- I had stil not received any updates regarding the washer. I contacted customer service who informed us that the washer was in fact out of stock and would not be in until approximately mid February. The customer service rep was very good and asked if we needed a washer right away and gave us alternative options which was appreciated- which is where the decent service ended. I asked if they would be offering the same deal on the washer as I bought it on a Black Friday sale. I did not receive a reply so I sent another email. I was informed I would not have to pay a price difference as there was a sale on- however the washer they were offering was smaller than the washer I purchased and I would not be getting any money back either. I asked if it was possible to refund the money and cancel the order and once again I did not receive an email back. I decided to wait until February for the washer. Come February we found out we would be moving and no longer at the address. I thought I should find out when the washer was coming to get prepared for it. This time rather than emailing I decided I should call and I may have better luck. I spoke with a different rep who was unable to tell me anything about my order and that she would have the original representative call me. The original rep called me stating the washer was now set to arrive mid March and unfortunately they were unable to expedite it and was again offered alternatives. I asked the rep if she could please refund my money or call me so it could be sorted as we were moving and needed a washer. The rep FINALLY refunded the order. Where I don’t have trouble waiting for an item I ordered online, I wish there had been clearer communication and better resolutions. I will not be shopping at coast appliances again

I'm erasing my old review because it turns out that Whirlpool is the one who made everything very difficult. Coast appliances was great to deal with and they advocated on my behalf for Whirlpool to honor their warranty. Unfortunately, they can only do so much but its not for lack of trying that's for sure.

Just had a dishwasher installed today by Jared and we can’t say enough about his dedication to providing excellent service. He was so personable and a pleasure to deal with. He is certainly a credit to Coast Appliances!Our sales lady Kim was extremely knowledgeable and did an excellent job advising us in the best product to purchase for our needs. We will be back!

When a major kitchen appliance breaks in your home, it is usually unexpected and an unplanned expense. Coast Appliance made a bad circumstance better. I researched the current models and went to Coast. Our sales representative was Dave and he was exceptional; he asked thoughful questions, provided great insight, and was a wealth of information. He was incredibly patient as he took us through a multitude of appliances. In the end we did make a purchase. Dave's knowledge of various manufacturers and their current promotions made it possible to purchase an upscale German manufacturer for the same cost of what I went down to purchase, plus a ten year warranty which isn't even offered for most brands. I absolutely recommend going to see Dave at Coast appliances.

I was in need of a washer and dryer and I just want to say what a great experience it was for me. Colette was amazing. Everything was great. She suggested an Electrolux set and I am sure impressed. Delivery was great and on time. I would definitely purchase all my appliances with Coast!

If I could review 0 stars, I absolutely would. Honestly one of the WORST experiences ever. We were building our first home and went through Coast Appliances (per builder rules). We ordered all our appliances in March 2022. We moved into our new home November 2022 without our ordered fridge and hood fan. Our fridge eventually came in; however, they damaged it upon delivery. This has yet to be fixed. It is almost May 2023 and I still do not have our hood fan. The amount of times we have called Coast Appliances about an update only to get the run around saying “oh next week it should be in”. They NEVER follow up with us. They never reach out. They do not care about their customers AT ALL. Rob and his manager have been ‘’quite honestly useless inhelping us. My fiancé took it upon himself to phone the manufacturer for our hood fan only to be told that it has been in stock since July 2022. We could have had it since then; however, Coast is not at all competent. When he asked Coast why they would not follow up about this, their pathetic response was “we don’t contact the manufacturers”. They are a joke. I would NEVER ever recommend them to anyone. Every time we talked to them, it was like we were inconveniencing them. When I explained how frustrated I was with this process, one sales guys response was “imagine how frustrating it is for us”. Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. I don’t have ONE positive comment about this ridiculous company.

Over the range microwave, purchased the display model at a very good price. The sale, delivery, and installation went smoothly. Great experience.
