Point Pelee Karting

This is our second year going here after camping at OTenTik, Point Pelee, National park. The cars are ok, nothing especial, some cars are fast some are slow. The staff is friendly. If the staff sees that you cannot reach the brake or gas they’ll offer you a cushion to put behind you so you’re more confortable driving. They offer a disposable cloth hairnet to put before putting your helmet. You need to be at least 52” to drive the car on your own, but there’s a double rider car available so younger kid could enjoy it too with adult supervision.It’s a bit pricey which I understand especially after the pandemic, small businesses was also affected. Im giving 3 stars because the debit/credit card machine is not available, the cars need to be upgraded, washroom need to be upgraded as well, but at the end, seeing my family happy and enjoying the ride is priceless.Prices:$15 for 10 mins.$25 for 20 mins.$35 for 30 mins.Method of payment:CASH onlyNO machine or ATM AVAILABLEFacility:Portable washroom.They sell Drinks, ice cream and chips.Benches are available for those family and friends who just wanted to wait.Days and hours of operation:Monday-Sunday: 10am-9pm

This definitely was not the best go cart experience, they only took cash, the carts were pretty sketchy and they didn't do anything about their pavement maintenance, we had to drive throu a big puddle at the beginning of the track which soaked us. I would not go back.

My personal favorite place to go birdwatching, the staff is super friendly and they have the best prices for go karting that I've found, 10 minutes for $12, 20 minutes for $22 and 30 minutes for $30. They also have a golf range... its great stress relief and its only $10.50 for a large bucket. 5/5 will visit again.

Best bang for you buck. The track is amazing. They also offer seasonal pass so you can bring your own kart

Terrible experience. My husband asked for a double kart and paid for it then was told it would be a 30 minute wait, no refunds of course. We ended up waiting about an hour before a kart was ready and by that point my 5 yr old was tired of waiting and just wanted to leave. They're not sanitizing any karts between riders and one of the employees was driving a kart around while standing up, smoking a cigarette.

family of 3 stopped by 30min and had great fun! Will come again next time in the area!

Glad I drove over an hour today on this Saturday to take my kids and it’s not open to the public. Thanks. Would have been nice to know on website or something. Kids are very disappointed.

Drove by this place while traveling and decided to give it a try. We were excited to be able to take our young kids (age 4 and 5) because they have a few double karts! Pricing was based on time and was reasonable - $12 for 10 min, $22 for 20 min or $30 fir 30 min. 10 min was plenty of time for our kids and we made it abound the track about 7 times.Track was okay. The karts are really old and in serious need of some repair. The seats belts need to be completely replaced!!! Very unsafe. If there were any other people on the track, I would not have let my kids go because the harness did not secure them into the seats properly. There were only 2 young guys (one looked about 12 and the other maybe 16?) working there which seemed weird to us but we figured it must be family owned and operated. They seemed a bit out of their element in the customer service department.Overall we had fun but would probably not go back unless they invested in some new karts.
