Do not go with this insurance broker for your insurance. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. Increasing your policy without any reasoning. When I questioned why my insurance policy went up they informed me that I was lucky" they aren't charging me more. I finally was able to cancel and asked them to confirm nothing else would be taken from my bank account (which they confirmed by email) and then I recieve a letter in the mail that I will be charge various fees. Never got a call or email back. I had to inform my bank to BLOCK the charges. Save yourself the time and energy and go with other insurance brokers that actually appreciate your business."

Terrible company . Buyer Beware. Manager didn't care. They made a mistake and will not own up to it. Customer has to pay for the brokers mistake.Go anywhere else for insurance!!!

While this review may not be directly related to G.A. Desjardins it is for the Desjardins home policy that my son has. He and his wife's first single home received severe damage from the storm in May. While delays are expected during large claims events the lack of action with little to no communication from Desjardins is unacceptable. It took over three months for remediation work to remove damaged and mold covered items to occur. Now after four months there is broken trusses no kitchen, interior walls, ceiling, insulation and the roof is covered with a tarp. There has been no time-frame provided. Today my son received in the mail a letter from Desjardins stipulating a deadline for the work to be completed or Desjardins will take further action. It also had the nerve to say Desjardins under valued the home and will be jacking up the rates. What an incompetent heartless company. By the way Desjardins they are expecting their first child in four weeks.
