I hired Sheffield for my recent move. They helped me prepare by providing advice on how to best pack and sort my things in advance. Then their team arrived and didn’t waste any time. Their team is professional, clean, and hardworking. No shady billing either with this Company. They provided an affordable quote and charged me appropriately. They were very transparent with the costing structure so there werent any surprises when the bill came. I highly recommend using their friendly and courteous services. I moved out of my condo and into my house in 3 hours. They are that good!

We recently used Sheffield moving to downsize my father to retirement living. It was an emotional time for our family and the Sheffield team took great care with my father’s belongings. They were extremely professional and courteous on the day of the move and they completed everything on time and on budget and even navigated a snow storm! We can’t recommend Dave and his team highly enough. Moving is stressful but with Sheffield helping us out everything felt seamless and it was a great experience overall. We can’t thank them enough.

My experience with Sheffield Moving is one that I hope anyone needing professional, well organized moving services in the GTA might consider. My wife and I needed movers to help us get all of our possessionsfrom a 3 bedroom apartment in Toronto to a home in Port Hope.We had called 3 companies to provide quotes, and while Sheffield wasn't the cheapest (nor the most expensive) we were impressed that the representative who was the estimator for the move was professional, knowledgeable and thoroughly explained what we could expect on the day of our move. He made us feel as if our business was important andimpressed us with his patience in answering all our questions.When the day came for the move (the first bitterly cold day this winter)the crew arrived on time, all of them took time to introduce themselvesand from the moment they arrived they impressed us with their can do"attitude and professional demeanor.During the four hour period of loading I did not see any one of the crew take a break

If you ever need movers, these are the guys. Moving is very stressful, but Sheffield made it so much less stressful. We are planning to sell our home in Brampton, and have a townhouse in Burlington. We needed to move lots and lots of our stuff, some to our townhouse, and some to our rental storage facility. This was a big move! We got various quotes, all around a $1000.00 cheaper than Sheffield, all offering us one 25-foot truck with 3 men. Sheffield quoted with 2 x 25-foot trucks and 7 men. Thank goodness we went with Sheffield, as one truck with 3 guys, would never have done the job, and it would have taken 1.5 days if not more, and in the long run, it would have been much more expensive than Sheffield's. Sheffield did it all in 10 hours straight, and that is what they estimated and quoted for. OMG, these guys were unbelievable, they lean slightly forward, pick up 3 x fairly heavy boxes on their back, hold the boxes with their two hands under the bottom box, walk up from our basement all the way into the truck, never ever seen anything like that!. The guys did a fantastic job, and we could not have wished for better service and people to deal with. Think hard before you just use cheaper movers. Happy moving, Christine and Tony.

The team and experience, from start to finish, was amazing. Working with David for the estimate and organization was easy and to say the moving team made our move flawless doesn’t do it justice … they were efficient yet careful, courteous yet fun. This was our second move with Sheffield, and it gets better every time.

We used Sheffield for our recent move and were thoroughly impressed with the entire event. We had a 3 man crew ( Justin Andy and Wycliffe ) who were extremely professional. They arrived right on time analyzed what was required and moved all the furniture quickly, very carefully and seamlesly from the house to our new location. The final piece of good news was they stayed right on estimate. Would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a quality job at a fair price move.

I had a really positive experience with Sheffield Moving – they made my cross-border move very easy. Excellent responsiveness to initial inquiry, and walkthrough for the estimate was done via Zoom since I could not be at my place that day. Very helpful in planning the move, and the disposal of various items I wanted to leave behind. Estimate was thorough and turned out to be very accurate. They took me through line by line the US customs paperwork I needed to fill out. Moving day was extremely smooth, thanks to Steve & Al on the crew, and was finished ahead of schedule. Excellent packing job, including some large paintings. Cross-border transport by one of their Allied Van Lines affiliates was very efficient, as was the offload in the US. It was an A++ experience – highly recommended. Thanks Dave and Joy and all the Sheffield team.

We moved from Toronto to Calgary in October 2022. Keith came to our 1+den condo to do the initial walk through to provide us with a quote. He explained how the entire process works and was very precise (his quote ended up being only $200 over what we actually paid). When it came time for the move, the guys packed up all our things very efficiently. The next day when they came to load the truck, they were very careful around the condo and did not leave any scratches/marks on anything. The move itself was very fast - we got our things in Calgary 1.5 weeks after the initial shipment. Sheffield was super communicative about when we could expect stuff and promptly scheduled the delivery. Our items were unpacked by the team here in Calgary. EVERYTHING was in pristine condition (nothing was broken/lost etc) and all in all the move went SUPER smoothly. Would recommend the efficient and professional services to anyone who wants a hassle free move. Yes it's going to be slightly more expensive than the entry level movers, but its worth the peace of mind!

I contacted this company who came to do an estimate at my house. When we received the quote there were items on it that we clearly stated were not being moved. I contacted the company to clarify and after my second email they stopped responding. They had quoted me over 7000 pounds of weight for 1 bedroom + living room and dining room plus boxes and other smaller pieces. We just had another highly rated company come and they stated we have no more than 4000 pounds and quoted half the price. Very disappointing as my daughter used them with more furniture and was quoted half of what we were. Profiling the older couple??? I’m questioning.
