GARDENWORKS Coquitlam

I love this place! Love the environment, and the staff. I had so much help with choosing plants, my partner and I were looking for a place to buy plants for our terrarium tank, both are new to the terrarium tank build. Shout out to the Scott who works there, a very awesome guy who showed us some of his personal builds and what he would recommend. Garden Works has a HUGE selection of different plants & flowers / gardening equipment. Not to mention if you also have a pet, please feel free to bring them in! Staff there love the dogsI would definitely recommend this place!I shall return for more!!

Staff is new ans very friendly, still getting organized though. Great if you want to go in ans chat, not so great if you want to get in and out quickly.

Do not mind paying top dollar for limited selection there. Just can not put up with such substandard service at the check-out counter. They charged me a higher price on 3 out of 5 items than store's listed price tag, I had to go back to have them corrected. A short skinny cashier named Jane? provide awful customer service there. It seems Jane working with her hands tied behind her back. She wasted more than 10 minutes and still can not get the price corrected. So I suggest she may need help from her other colleague, who knows better to operate the computer system to get it done. Words fail me, I have never spent such a difficult day trying to speak to a person and sort out our problem.Her service is guaranteed to give you high blood pressure or heart attack. You know what, finally a young Asian face lady shows up and made the price adjustment to right in few seconds! If Jane lacks of skills to work there, at least not dump negative emotions to customers. I could have given them NO star for having Jane in their cashier team.

Extremely helpful staff! I brought in a photo of my aloe and was recommended new potting mix and terra cotta planters. I was given even more advice when the floor staff noticed I was still wandering around looking lost trying to understand orchid care.This location does not offer repotting for now. If you do decide to being a pot to any gardenworks, make sure it has no pests! This location suffered some inventory loss because of a customer's unknown pests which is unfortunate because the people here are so great and they always have everything I need plus more in stock.

Best customer service from nicole she helped me with something that the other two stores in Burnaby did not. I will only shop at her location now. As a very long standing customer of garden works.She was kind, patient and extremely understanding . She is what has made me decide to only shop at her location.

I came into the store with a struggling orchid, hoping for advice on the materials I needed to repot the plant. With the friendliest smile, Jean asked me to walk around while she repotted the plant. When it was packaged in a beautiful gift box, I got out my wallet and she said there'll be no charge!!! I was in shock as she explained how to care for it and to bring it back if it didn't thrive. Even more amazing is Jean's humility because when I asked for her name to recognize her, she was reluctant to take credit, saying that it should go to the whole team :) Words fail to convey my gratitude for such outstanding customer service, truly going above and beyond:) I will be back often and cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Staffs are really friendly and they were helping every individual customers.Highley recommended for new gardeners.They have different variety of pots which I didn't seen in most of the other gardens.Seems like recently opened, so decent number of plants were there.

I was very pleased to find such a large selection of both outside perennials and indoor tropicals which is exactly what I was looking for. However, parking was really really bad. The parking lot is just too small. A little disappointing as I did see people just leave because they couldn't find parking. No one wants to buy bags of soil or big trees and plants and not have a parking spot nearby. Staff were very knowlegeable and friendly though and I got a parking spot so I am happy.
