Crazy Pho You
Delicious and amazing food. I'm a big fan of pho, and I tried many pho restaurants in Toronto. However, this place is the #1 I've ever tried.

I got there just before opening in a rush looking for food and the owner Ken was kind enough to let me in and made me a great bowl of pho. He was really friendly and easy to talk to. I loved the fact that he added fried garlic and fried onion to the broth, which added another layer of flavour to the bowl. The noodles were cooked to the perfection and the brisket was tender! Overall great place to eat and great owner. Would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Had an amazing lunch with the family. Very welcoming and more importantly delicious. Tasty, fresh food with good portions and great value. The beef bahn mi was also halal. Overall amazing experience.

Absolutely to die for atmosphere, family friendly owners made our first visit a blast. Food was delicious and pho broth is addictive! Will be visiting again as I wanted to try the bhan mi but they were sold out! Oh well there is always next time :)

Noticed their interesting play on words sign for a while ….. staff is Vietnamese and friendly. They went out of their way to decorate the place for lunar new year ……. Festive!!!Interior does not have many seats. Truly a small place; yet they pay a lot of attention to keep the place tidy and up to date.However, I do find their pho bowls very small …… the small $14 is a VERY small soup bowl…. Smallest I had ever eaten in any Vietnamese place to date…….. and the broth is also very yellowing brown ….. not clear.The taste was ok …… did not help that they seems to be missing everything ….. no basil leaves..,…, no chop suey ……. No lime ……. Nothing!!!! Just spinach leaves !!!!!!Never did I had a bowl of Pho served this way……. I can only say this is a cute place to impress Canadians but I was totally not impressed in any way!!!!Felt kinda gotten ripped off for a tiny bowl of noddle soup …….not worth the money.Will not return unless they can be more authentic in their food preparation and presentation …..

I am a native Vietnamese visiting Ottawa with my wife and three boys (13,10,5) from Minneapolis and came across Crazy Pho You based on the good Google reviews. What a phenomenal Vietnamese restaurant you Ottowans have. I have never written this on a Google review, but the rare beef and brisket pho I had was the best pho I have ever eaten in a restaurant! For determining the quality of pho, it’s all about the broth. The broth here had complex depth of flavor- subtly sweet, herbal notes from the herbs and spices, big beefy flavor from the meats, and the perfect amount of salt. Wow! I asked the owner Khanh what he does to his broth and he says he cooks it for two days. That’s how he gets his complex flavors.Another first for me is the brisket. Traditional pho with brisket contains chewy (sometimes shoe leather) brisket. I never eat the fat from the brisket. However, at Crazy Pho You, the brisket texture is melt in your mouth tender- meat and fat. I actually ate the fat! I make my own Pho and I smoke/bbq my brisket for 12-15 hours and cut slices to put into my pho. Crazy for You pho is just as good as my homemade pho.My kids ordered the Lemongrass chicken with rice. That dish was excellent! The chicken was tender and had great lemongrass flavor. We also ordered the cha gio (egg rolls) for appetizers. Definitely worth getting as an appetizer. Super tasty.Crazy Pho You is a must visit if you want to have fantastic Vietnamese food!

Crazy Pho You
It was my first time at Crazy Pho You and I was impressed. I ordered the Beef and Shrimp Spicy Stir-Fry and was surprised by the generous portion I received for the price. Plenty of Beef and Shrimp, to satisfy the amount of rice. The flavours and spice were very solid. Mr. Ken also provided me with a delicious complimentary free soup on the side. Great atmosphere, nice staff, great tasting food. I would definitely recommend!

We has a really lovely bowl of pho. My friend had chicken and I had beef and brisket. The bowl was huge. We had large. I would come here again. I love broth based soups so it was up my alley.

Ordered the fatty brisket & rare beef and WOW! The broth is just amazing by itself but the rest of the elements tie in so well. Such a generous serving and delicious — probably the best pho I’ve ever had! Packaged carefully as well.
