Very Upsetting ExperienceI ordered a cheese hot dog for my son. As we always carry our refillable water bottles to avoid the plastic waste, and as prices were only written for hot dog and drink combos, I asked the owner of the stall how much a cheese hot dog was without the drink. She replied that the price was the same ($9) whether we wanted a drink or not. I was surprised and disappointed by this coercive strategy. After I expressed my disappointment, the owner of the stall asked me where my accent was from. I could not help but feel a hint of discrimination but I will let you reach your own conclusions. The owner then gave my son a hot dog and as he was putting the condiments on it, I realized that it was not the cheese hot dog that we had ordered but just a regular hot dog. When I pointed out the mistake, she stated that if we wanted the cheese dog we had to purchase a second combo.My guess is that she assumed that we were expressing our disappointment because of the high price and proceeded to sell us a less costly combo without even validating her assumption with us. In fact, I was disappointed by the predatory business strategy itself. In my citizen of the earth culture, we believe in fairness and equity for all and I am always saddened when I witness business owners who use a mercenary attitude to boost their sales.

Great price, great view, and great customer service. Very lovely lady running the stand and made you feel so welcome. It was nice to grab some dogs and sit by the water.

My wife an I stoped by this morning. First of the season! Very nice lady serving good BBQ. Recommended to stop for a bite while checking out peggys cove.

The owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet . Had a lovely chat with her . We ordered for 4 people and she noticed we had 2 small dogs with us . She said pets eat for free and proceeded to give us a BBQ weiner for each dog . She has a water dish for thirsty pets as well . I highly recommend her Dog stand for anyone visiting Peggy's Cove , especially those who have Fur babies with them . Thank you so much :)

It was the busiest day at Peggy’s cove. Parking was difficult to find. People were parking on the highway. Line ups at the restaurant.I didn’t feel like waiting and decided to pick up a quick hot dog.We asked if we could order just the hot dog with no drink. The woman replied « it comes with it. It’s up to you if you take the drink or not »We ordered 7 hot dogs for $42! Can’t believe I paid that much for a hot dog. Nothing special to them.Talk about price gouging.

one of the best dogs i’ve ever had, the owner (i’m assuming) is phenomenal; so kind and funny, reasonably priced and the views while you’re mucking a dog is immaculate, if i could give 6 stars i would
