Hybrid Elevator

We recently installed a PVC elevator in our home which has allowed us to stay in our home and not worry about trying to get up or down the stairs or falling down the stairs.What a great experience it was to work with Lance, Jade, Sergio and of course Val who was always available to answer questions, and scheduled everything to run smoothly and on time. The contractor they recommended, DCR Contracting, was very knowledgeable and creative in the preparation for the installation of the elevator. Ashley and the installation team did a great job, very efficient and took the time to explain what they were doing and why.The commitment and knowledge of the whole Hybrid team was greatly appreciated. Jade, Val and the entire installation team did an incredible job installing our residential elevator. In the midst of highways closures blocking their crews and Christmas coming, they were able to get the installation done in our house in time for our daughter to use it during the holidays. No longer does our daughter need to rely on others for her to travel from floor to floor. The team was efficient, pleasant and delivered excellent service. We highly recommend Hybird Elevator! Amazing addition to our home. Super quiet and smooth, We had no idea a home elevator could be so well built!

We had Hybrid install a residential elevator in a home we have just had built. The elevator works great and has been a real bonus during the move-in process, and for certain will be a worthwhile investment over time. We have spoken to other people that have installed other systems and it reinforces that Hybrid elevators are top notch, don't require a high amp power service and they are a great value.

When they do work, which is rare, they are very noisy shaky and kind of scary to use. They go bang and clunk and move around when they're in use, and when somebody comes to fix them they still don't work. And then they try to charge $150 per hour!

April 27, 2021We have been using our Hybrid Elevator for almost 2 months & have been meaning to write a review. As you may have noticed we have given a 5 star rating. I would love to mention all of the names of everyone who was involved but there are others who are constructing these elevators behind the scenes who would not get their dues. Everyone that we had contact with was professional, helpful & treated us with respect & importance. The elevator was installed within 2 weeks with no inconvenience to us & it was put inside our home. DCR Contracting had the hoistway, which includes all of the outside walls, doors, dry walling & painting, done within 5 days & completed it at the end with the finishing touches. We barely knew he was here other than that he was there to answer many questions with a professional, knowledgeable & kind manner. He protected everything from the dust, cleaned up every day & the finished job was spectacular. Ours was a difficult installation as we had half floors with a total of 3 stops. It looks beautiful & works quietly & effortlessly. We keep asking ourselves why we waited so long. I could go on & on about Hybrid’s & DCR’s workmanship, design of the elevator, how little impact it has on our home other than the ease it is to get from floor to floor & the beauty the elevator has added to our lives (both physically & mentally). Everyone that comes overgives overwhelming praise to the construction & efficiency of the elevator & hoistway. We are getting older & mobility is getting a bit harder but now with our new elevator we can stay in our home & our neighbourhood. Sandy M
