I worked there for 5 years. Horrible management. Now it's worse. When I started there there was no privacy for the residents. I have copies of many forms I completed to improve the quality of life for the residents. They were largely ignored. I was kicked under the table in meetings with social workers and community services by my supervisor to shut me up. Community services doesn't care either. This is nothing new and it has been allowed to continue on by management, social workers, community services and the heads of the union. Management has no respect for the residents or staff working there.There is too much violence in this home towards staff that could be prevented. It's like working in a pressure cooker. Management doesn't care. Do not be fooled by the pretty pictures and lies said to the media from the CEO. I totally support the information picket line that staff participated in this month.
