Thank you for planning our perfectly executed honeymoon, we had the best time at our three destinations: Bali, Singapore and Maldives. Our flight, accommodations, food, touristic activities and transportation were well thought out and we didn't have to worry about anything. Sun Ray travel took good care of us and we trust them for future adventures!

Brenda set my wife and I up on a vacation that we had always dreamed of going. She made it very easy and relaxing. Her communication to us was amazing. She set up a zoom meeting a couple of days before we were scheduled to fly out to Cancun Mexico and went over all of the details. Her descriptions and guidance was spot on from the beginning to the end. I have used travel agents before but I have never had the care and attention to detail that Brenda put into planning our trip. It was fantastic! The resort that she set us up with was spectacular from the AMAZING resort services to the very clean beaches and pristine aqua water. Thanks Brenda for all of the time that you invested into making 100% certain that all my wife and I had to do was relax. You are very much appreciated. We will definitely be using you as our travel agent on our next trip!

We had a fantastic vacation in Egypt in mid Sept 2022 organized by Sun Ray Travel in Toronto. It was a trip of a lifetime that did not disappoint! Our trip included overnight in Cairo on the first night, 4 nights Nile cruise on MS Nile Style from Luxor to Aswan, 5 nights in Marsa Alam at Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza (red sea all inclusive) then back to Cairo for 2 nights at the Ramses Hilton with a late flight back home the following day.We travel quite a bit and rarely use travel agents but travelling to Egypt it was a must and so glad we did so with Sunray Travel. We were taken care of end-to-end from the moment we stepped off the plane. Our custom tour was unique and a bit early before high season so we were fortune that we had our own private group of just the two of us! It was very hot 102-104F so Oct would have been a better travel time but it didn’t work into our schedule.Sayed Nosser was our guide on the Nile cruise and to our surprise all the guides come on the cruise ship and travel with you. We can not say enough great things about Sayed, his English was perfect, he was extremely knowledgeable, he had an art of explaining the history that captured your attention and the right balance of offering some free time to wander a bit on our own to take pictures and respect our privacy when back on the cruise. His level of service was top notch and he had all the connections with the drivers/boat operators/horse drawn carriage etc., so we never waited, vehicles were 8-person new vans for just the two of us. Even with the water taxi’s we were the only ones in the boat that could have seated 20 people at least. We loved the destinations on the cruise, the food variety on the cruise was pretty good, buffet style always had chicken, beef, fish and pasta with salad bar and lots a great bread. Our highlight was the hot air balloon at sunrise in Luxor, an add on excursion, but a must do!We choose the Three Corners Fayrouz in Marsa Alam because it has great snorkelling right in front of the resort off the long pier and you can rent snorkel gear for the day at the dive centre on the beach. There is not much of a beach to swim though but the snorkeling and scuba diving was fantastic. The food was great here, excellent sandy beach, pool and large clean and spacious rooms. It was a long 6 hour drive through the desert (bit bumpy at times) from Aswan in a 8-person large comfy van but definitely worth it, we saw lots of beautiful coral, large turtles and the endangered Dugong in the Murbarak Bay a 10 mins walk along the beach from the resort.Returning back to Cairo we had saw the pyramids, camel ride, museums, mosque, etc. In Cairo our guide was Soliman Mohamad who also spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable and took us to a great restaurant for lunch. On the last day we were transferred to a new guide whose English was a bit choppy and our experience was fair.We found very little information on the web about Egypt so I’d thought I’d share a few tips we learned: Do not rent a car, the driving is crazy there which is why a tour guide and arranged transportation is so important. It gets very hot, don’t go anywhere without your hat and pack lots of water. Liquor is only available in tourist areas (cruise, all inclusive) and it is really subpar. Stick with the beer and maybe white wine, wouldn’t recommend anything else. Beware about buying Egyptian cotton sheets, I paid a lot of money for queen sheets that don’t even come close to fitting, sizing must be different.We were nervous about travelling to Egypt but now that we have been I don’t know why as we felt completely safe at all times, the people were extremely friendly and happy to have tourists. The army was at every tourist site asking who was in the car, writing down license plates, etc. They take the safety of the tourism serious. I would say its far safer than a trip to Mexico and I’m not sure why more Canadian’s don’t travel to this beautiful country.Overall, we had a fantastic time, thank you Sun Ray Travel!

Last month, my husband and I toured Egypt with Sun Ray Travel. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Egypt is wonderful and so were the people comprising our tour group. We now consider them friends and are hoping to find ways to meet up again. Our package was twelve days and included international and domestic flights, our hotels, breakfast everyday, a four-day cruise on the Nile and several tours in each place. In that short time, we visited the highlights of at least five cities. leaving enough free time for resting or extra optional tours. The museums and artifacts were fascinating and several of us would have appreciated even more time to explore the exhibits. Right before our eyes were priceless treasures that we'd only heard about in books. The excavations are ongoing, and bringing ancient history to light. Wall murals and hieroglyphics are well-preserved, having been buried for so many years. Soliman, our guide in Cairo, was welcoming, very personable, and well-informed about the history of the mosques, pyramids, tombs etc. that we saw. We were encouraged to ask questions and he answered them all very frankly. He was a friend rather than just a guide. We were especially fortunate to meet with his beautiful family and share a meal.While on the NIle cruise all our meals were included. In Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombu, and Aswan, we were accompanied by another five-star guide named, Sayed who also had a wealth of knowledge to share. In Luxor, we took an optional hot air balloon ride at sunrise. An amazing experience! We chose another optional tour of Luxor in a horse-drawn calesh. We sailed in a felucca to see the Botanical Gardens and took other motorized crafts to visit a Nubian Village and attend a school lesson there.Unfortunately, our day excursion to Alexandria was cancelled due to flooding but even that did not dampen our spirits. There was always something to see and do, including a trip to the bazaar and an evening meal of delicious Egyptian food.One thing I haven't mentioned is that on this particular tour, we were accompanied by Emile from Sun Ray Travel. He is from Egypt and his personal knowledge and stories were welcomed by all of us. For Dan and I , especially, Emile's presence was a godsend because, about 2:00 a.m., in Aswan my husband, Dan, awoke with atrial fibrillation (racing heart). With Emile's help, we got an ambulance to take him to the nearby University Hospital. He was seen immediately by the Emergency doctor, and shortly after, by a cardiologist. He was admitted, and then I was no longer permitted to see him. Emile sat and talked with me all night until about 11:00 the following morning. He didn't treat me like a client, I was a friend. He spoke to the doctors for me, arranged a taxi to pick up meds the hospital required for Dan's tests, and went to see Dan and reassure me of his condition. Having only a passing familiarity with the Egyptian currency, I cannot express my gratitude for his willingness to handle the payment for the drugs, the tests, the hospital fees etc. Without him, we would have been alone in a hospital in a foreign country, unable to speak the language, I am also so grateful to him for getting me special permission to see Dan before having to leave for the day. Seeing him, for myself, sitting up and smiling eased my mind considerably. Emile also remained in contact with the hospital till evening when they released him. Dan's heart had returned to normal rhythm, and there was no evidence of a heart attack or any damage. Michelle, at Sun Ray, contacted Emile several times, concerned for Dan and I. She also called Dan directly after we had landed in Toronto to know that he was alright. Their concern and assistance went beyond anything you could reasonably expect from your travel agent.We highly recommend our new friends, Emile, Michelle, and Sun Ray Travel for any travel needs you may have. They don't come any better.

Excellent services provided by Sunray Travel on a 12 days tour to Egypt with 3 nights Nile cruise. Michelle was very patient and informative during the whole booking process and follow-up all of our concerns before the trip. We were a group of 5 including 2 elderly and a 12 years old. Our trip went smoothy since we arrived to Cairo airport with a representative named Mohammed who greeted us upon arrival and we were being well looked after every step of the way. Our tour guide - Beshoy George was attentive and always accommodating to our needs. I felt safe in Egypt and the whole experience was well above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommended!

I can't rave enough about the fantastic job Michelle did planning our honeymoon to Thailand. From the very beginning she was patient, informative, and really made sure to listen to what we wanted out of our trip.Michelle put together an amazing itinerary for us, combining all the various elements we requested: relaxation, tourism, and adventure (and all while sticking to our budget). We stayed at some of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen, and were met and escorted by well informed guides while there.
