Prohibition Barber & Bourbon Room
The best I have ever been to! The vibe and the quality of cuts is unbeaten. Camille has been my go to now the past couple times and the care and time taken is a great comfort. Conversation is easy and not forced and the cut is fantastic! Would highly recommend. The only barber I have gone to where I have been 110% happy with it instead of walking out with the “ahhhh it will grow out okay” feeling.

Visiting from out of province and decided that my overly wild hair needed a change of scenery, booked with Camille and had the best experience with her, not only did she listen to what I wanted but she gave me feedback and I walked out with the sickest mullet! Definitely will be back when I’m in town!

Kate really helped me out, I needed a haircut done for my wedding and after reading reviews I was set on prohibition, they were booked out but were able to squeeze me into there busy schedule & sort me out, Kate has given me one of the best cuts I’ve had and could not be any more happier I’ll be feeling prim and proper after for the occasion, such a cool variety of pomades, oils and washes it’s a very cool shop I wish it was in my local city back in South Australia.Cheers again Mac

Haircut was bad. The haircutter (Camille) did not try to do her job very well or she is just poor professional. Haircut supposed to be 45 min but it was 20 min in a best case scenario. After visiting your barbershop I had a feeling that I was unwanted customer.Overall impression: just bad, wouldn’t recommend to go there, unless you know to whom you are going.

I have been to prohibition many times. 100% my favourite barbershop in the valley. The entire staff are friendly & engaging. Kate is my usual go-to barber but while she was away on vacation Camille did a fantastic job filling in for her.Kate, Camille & Tyler are all great at what they do. Would 100% recommend for any & all haircuts.Beer & whiskey selection hits the spot as well.

Amazing spot to get a haircut in Canmore! I went in and played a game of Pac-Man on an old arcade machine while I waited, made me feel like a kid again, I loved it! It was also nice having a bourbon while I did that!Had a great haircut! Kate did an awesome job on the cut and fade! I appreciated the free shampoo! Complimentary hot towel and eucalyptus steam with my hot shave had me leave feeling like a million bucks!Definitely coming back here!

Stopped in for a desperately needed haircut while in Canmore for a month. Prohibition was recommended to me so thought I would try them out. Ended up getting a 10am appointment the following morning - too early for a bourbon with my cut but maybe next time. Had Camille cut my hair. She was cheerful, lots of fun convo and the haircut was excellent. Highly recommend Prohibition. Excellent service from the initial booking through Kate to the moment I walked out the door with a great haircut by Camille.

My neglected beard and hair were in desperate need of a haircut and some trimming and shaping. I decided to give Prohibition a try and it was a really good choice.Camille did a really great job. On my way out I was feeling like a new man.From now on this will be my number one barber shop.
