My wedding was September 2014 and I purchased my dress from 'Unveiled'. Here are a few of the pros and cons I personally experienced:PRO:Dress selection was wonderful! The salon was clean and easy to maneuver. The changing area downstairs was spacious with plenty of mirrors and walking room so that you didn't feel cramped while trying dresses on. The service my first visit was very good. My mother travelled from two provinces away just to come shopping with me and I live over 2 hours from Saskatoon so it was refreshing to have good service after a long day of driving and shopping.CON:I made a trip back two months after I purchased my dress to get bridesmaids dresses for two of my ladies. The upstairs was PACKED and there was barely any room to move around due to so many people. The ladies on staff all looked like they hated their lives and not one of them offered to help us, even after I asked for assistance. I understand that when it's busy there might be some wait time, but there were two girls not doing anything other than stand there and scowl. They especially didn't like being 'put out' to measure my girls to order their sizes. (Not to mention, they told my one girl to order an outrageous size - we ended up convincing them to order it two sizes smaller than they recommended, and it still came in too big.)Even the lady at the til was rude, but she was the one who helped me find my dress and was so pleasant the first time that I thought it might just be an off day for everyone. Fair enough.PRO:With great excitement I went to pick up my dress after 6 months and it was more beautiful than I remembered! I went with my mom, mother-in-law, and Maid of Honor and we again had wonderful service.CON:Alterations. I ended up having to make 5 trips for alterations (and it's a 4+ hour drive each time)! I have to say, this was a HUGE disappointment and the main reason for my rating being so low. I spent a lot of money on my dress and on each trip to come try it on, and I was definitely not satisfied with my dress. The one side on my hip puckered so badly that there was a huge bubble in the dress that shows on a lot of my wedding pictures. I went back 4 times to have this corrected and still they didn't get it fixed. The last time I went for a fitting was the week before my wedding and we told them that it HAD to be ready for us to take that day because we wouldn't have time to make yet another trip to Saskatoon. When I arrived, the hip was still wacky, and the seamstress had pulled the pick up on the train through the tulle, causing it to tear. There were bald patches at the bottom of my dress where ruffles should have been but were not replaced after the dress was hemmed. We had to wait around in the city until that evening so that it could get fixed. The hip was STILL not fixed, but we had no choice except to take it with us. (One of the ruffles wasn't put on properly in the front afterward and right after my Ceremony someone accidentally got their shoe caught in it and ripped a hole in the front that we had to fix with safety pins.)At the wedding, I put up the bustle up and it ripped after 5 minutes of walking around so I had to hold the train for the entire reception. They did give me $100 off alterations, but based on how much I spent on the dress and the fact that I spent almost that much on gas per trip to try it on... didn't really help much.CONCLUSION:1. Beautiful dresses but inconsistent service (seems I was treated well when my mom was with me but if I was there with a friend we were not given the same treatment).2. Alterations were not satisfactory and were actually very noticeable in the many of the pictures, which was a HUGE disappointment.3. Would I recommend Unveiled? Tentatively. I would recommend people to go for the dress selection, for sure, but would caution them not to expect that wonderful bridal experience" that all girls hope for

Ok, I'm not going to speak to the lack of service the transgender lady received, because I shopped there before that happened. Obviously, I wouldn't have shopped there at all if it had been after. But since they are still open months later, other women are still shopping there, so this will be just an actual review.I had a lousy experience. It's not uncommon for plus sizes to be in the back of a store, it's just how the numbers work, but at Jenny's it feels very crowded and claustrophobic. I pulled dresses with no assistance (I had an appointment) and I only saw the sales girl when she was putting them in the room for me. I am also a tall bride, at just under 6 feet without shoes so when I got into the change room, it simply had too low of a ceiling. I didn't have to hunch, but because their selection of dresses in my size was lousy, I was having to attempt to put them over my head. The sales girl didn't help me get into the dresses and I had to leave the room with the backs open. For the dresses that were too big, she didn't clamp them, just let me hold them. When I shopped there, I was the only bride and there were a few girls there on staff. There was no excuse for this lack of service. When I explained what I was looking for, the response I got was along the lines of, Not in your size." I wasn't made to feel welcome or like they even wanted my business. When the sales girl was lacing me up or fetching dresses me she was friendly

I write this review as a bridesmaid shopping for a wedding dress with my bride. As a person who is a seamstress and has been a bridal consultant at another store in a different town, I'd like to say I have high standards but am completely understanding of certain policies. I've already purchased two bridesmaid dresses from this store once when it was Jenny's and once as Unveiled. This was my third experience at the store.I went in already expecting poor service as I don't think I've received good service any time I've shopped for a bridesmaid dress or wedding dress anywhere in Saskatoon. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised by the bridal consultant Niki with amazing service. She never once talked down to us, never got off topic with going into the overwhelming depths about ordering a dress, and was entirely helpful in grabbing certain dresses we were hoping to try on after trying on a couple warm up" dresses. My bride found an absolutely amazing dress

I was pregnant when shopping for my wedding dress years ago. The staff was rude and unhelpful. They made me feel ashamed instead of happy for my big day. It breaks my heart that this has recently happened to another expectant bride.... in a very extreme and terrible, blatant display of discrimination. Do not shop here unless you want to support hate on a day meant to celebrate love.

Don't shop here. The owner of the store is a bigot who wouldn't serve a woman a dress because she was transgender. She is still a woman who has feelings and probably feels bad enough being born in the wrong body. The wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day in a girls life and hers has been turned into a nightmare as the owner wouldn't let her try on wedding dresses for her big day. Its disgusting, that the owner can get away with it.

I have always shopped at this store. When I have been in other wedding parties, we always start here and then end up here afterwards too. I have been a customer before and after the switch and was very happy every time (over a span of 9 years). As a bride going to pick out her dress and also picking out 6 bridesmaid dresses at the same time, they were very accommodating. I did book a private shopping party to enhance the experience and it was excellent! Service and selection was amazing! The consultant did a great job listening to what I was looking for and then she showed me something that she thought I might like but had never thought of before, and that was the dress I chose. Friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place!

If I could give it zero stars I would. The experience was horrific to put it kindly. when you go into a store spending a certain amount of money you expect to be treated a certain way and have an enjoyable experience. You will not find that atmosphere if you come in contact with the owner. The absolute most ignorant rude person I have ever had to deal with especially in a dress store. You would think owning a store and dealing with ppl on a daily basis would give you some common sense on how to act appropriately with your customers, this is not the case. So let me tell you: the customer is always right. If you want ppl to spend money in your store shut your mouth and do your job. Today you lost a sale and ruined the experience of a first time dress shopping for a very beautiful bride. Had that bride not been my sister and me instead, that experience would have been very different for you as well. I had to bite my tongue off to stop myself from coming unglued. i would never recommend this store for anyone and I find it very sad that someone would behave that way on a day that's supposed to be filled with joy.

Service was absolutely excellent ! Katie is well experienced beyond her years, personable and helpful . The whole experience was awesome I would recommend it to anyone. I bought my bridesmaid dress there along with three other girls. Had the perfect colour and style for a reasonable price. Do not let prior misconceptions make your decision, new management has completely stepped their game up.

I visited this store couple of times. One of my few visits were for my own wedding to get a dress and later to get a veil and recently for a friend. I must say this is by far the WORST STORE in terms of customer service. The sales team is nothing but a BUNCH OF SNOOTY WOMEN who make you feel like you're the most insignificant person in the room. I've been in Canada for about 4 years this is by far the MOST RACIALLY DISCRIMINATING STORE. The collection is probably great but their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.

We had a very unfortunate encounter with Unveiled. We ordered two bridesmaid dresses from Unveiled for my son’s wedding which was being held in Victoria in early September. The bride was having three bridesmaids; one lived in Victoria so she ordered her dress from there. The other two bridesmaids (one was my daughter) were from Saskatoon. Although the color hues were the same the dresses were not identical. As the time approached for the dresses to arrive I called the store to see when they would be arriving. We knew alterations would be required so we wanted to ensure that the dresses arrived in time to accommodate this. Just over a month before the wedding I began calling the store – each time I was told that the manager would call me back to let me know when the dresses would be in. I called every other day for over a week and finally I was able to speak to a manager who told me that she could not speak with me but that she would have to speak directly to the bride. When the bride called her the manager said that the dresses had been “cut wrong” overseas and that they were not going to be arriving for the wedding. Apparently the dresses had been cut for “junior sizes” rather than adult sizes. At this point we were one month away from the wedding. We were told that it would be impossible to get the dresses we had ordered but they had several options that we could order that would arrive in time. These dresses were only available in very limited colors so that meant we would need to order them in black if they were going to match the wedding colors at all. (This meant 2 dresses would be black and one would be burgundy – the original dresses we had ordered were a mix of burgundy and black so that they would all coordinate)My daughter went to the store and tried on the four options that were available – two were too short for her and one was “really ugly”. The fourth dress was a twist dress which, although it was certainly not what we wanted, seemed to be the only option. They did not have the proper size for her to try on but ordered the dress and it arrived within a week. When she tried on the dress it was discovered that this dress was also too short. My daughter is just over 5’9” so she is not that tall. She was then told that you are “just too tall and we don’t have any other options for you.” So three weeks before the wedding we were left without any bridesmaid dresses. We were left to scramble for dresses – my daughter had to purchase a dress from Le Chateau (which, if you are looking for a black dress, was actually pretty nice – and the staff was super friendly and accommodating after they found out the disaster we had been left with). The bride was able to find a dress at a bridesmaid store in Victoria that would work for the other bridesmaid. Of course the color choices were not what they had planned but, at this point, they had to take what they could get. If they had planned on matching dresses this would have been even more devastating. The manager at Unveiled had offered to give a $100 credit for alterations to each of the bridesmaids. However, when they could not find a dress at the store that was suitable she stated that they would not help with alterations on any other dresses. The only compensation they were given for this disaster was a small burgundy belt.I was very disappointed in the store as I felt that they should have done anything and everything to help us find suitable dresses. Once they determined that the four dresses they had available were not going to work then they basically “washed their hands” of us. The other thing that was upsetting to me is that they were not apologetic for the situation we were left with. They placed all of the blame on the dress company making the dresses. I felt they should assume responsibility for the error. After all, we had ordered the dresses from Unveiled so we cannot be responsible for what happens with their suppliers.Unfortunately I would never shop there again.
