The Old Barber Shop

I have been a customer of Glen and Jaime's first a long time. They show great care when cutting hair. Very friendly. Extremely great with children. Easily the best price in hair care.

Jamie took extra time to fix my husbands hair that hasn’t seen scissors in well over a year and kept us entertained while he did. Great job and super friendly atmosphere.

I have received more haircuts here than I can count. The Mackenzies have always offered a great cut at a fair price. There is just something about the smell of a true authentic old school barber shop that will never go out of style!

Be prepared to step back in time to the way things used to be. Jamie and Glen always do a great job on my hair at a reasonable price. Feel free to stop in last minute, no appointment necessary.

This was my first time going to this barber. His place was not clean and professional. I showed him a picture of how I wanted my hair to be cut so he reassured me he's been doing this for over 30 yrs and he doesn't need me to tell him how to do his job. As you can see from the final results, he has no clue was he's doing. My hair is now ruined. Now I need to grow it out for a few more months to fix the damage.

Really enjoyed seeing all the old pics of kincardine that were displayed. Jamie and Glen do a great job and are both very friendly and courteous. And you can't beat the price! :)

My son and I visited Jimmy this summer in the midst of the pandemic. Jimmy was very kind and friendly, but unfortunately, has no business running a barber shop. I was floored by how bad the cuts we received were, I left unsure if he had ever even cut anyone's hair before.After meeting Jimmy I would've been very happy to be able to leave a positive review, but it would be an absolute disservice to anyone who read it. I'm not sure how the positive reviewers on here are related to Jimmy, but this was in no way our experience here.Go anywhere else, cut your own hair if you need to. I'm sorry Jimmy, but you can't run a business without knowing what you're doing.

It was my son's first haircut with Jamie today and I was very happy with everything. Jamie is very kind and did a great job on his haircut. Will definitely be back, highly recommend!

I asked Jamie if he could make me look good. He jokingly said it would take a miracle, but he would try. Turns out, he is a miracle worker. I love the cut, my wife loves the cut and I'm totally happy with the cut he gives. Well done sir

Jamie is awesome! Quality haircut for very reasonable price. Like the fact that he takes walk-ins.
