Decorecon

Worst contractor ever. They started my renovation first week of March and it's almost September now and it's still not 100% done even though I already paid them to the last penny. They also gave me the cheapest bathtub and toilet they can find. Carlos gave me some compensations for the headache they gave me, but Dave made it look that I’m the one who owes them something the last time we spoke. They are also really bad at communicating, Carlos rejected my calls most of the time. Carlos, Dave, Philip and the 3rd party contractor they hired to do my renovation badmouthed and blamed each other for all their shortcomings. Save your money and sanity and look for better contractors.

We ordered a granite, Juparana Columbo countertop with full granite backsplash as well as a sink and faucet from Decorecon. Carlos, Dave, the sales representatives, and the installers were pleasant and friendly. The installers arrived quickly and on schedule, about a week after we finalized the order. The installation took about four hours. Most of that time was spent on the complicated backsplash, which has seven interlocking pieces. The pieces fit together perfectly, leaving only thin seams which they filled with glue. They cleaned the surfaces, but after they finished, some glue was left on the countertop and backsplash which the installers must not have seen. We called Decorecon to see if they could return to remove the glue. They returned in a week and removed it. They told us we should seal the stone right away, to add to the seal they started after cutting the stone in the factory, and we did so. We highly recommend Decorecon, both for their reasonable prices and their excellent customer service.

The most difficult contractor ever!!! I hired Carlos to give my kitchen a makeover at the start of September 2017. He told me that the project will take about three weeks. He gave me a quote we agreed on a price he told me that he needs 50% of the money upfront which I gave him. We agreed to pay him 30 % of the remaining balance when my cabinets were finish, the counter tops install and the remaining 20% when the job is completed as per the work order. However. there were problems from the get go from the type of quartz we wanted to the finishing edges of my counter. Carlos did not give us the finish edge we wanted, every time we make a suggestion regarding the project he objects. There was also the communication issues, He also wanted more money before the agreed time. We felt alienated as well as stress out my the end of the project. Do your research before you hired these so call contractors but everything in writing in the event of an law suit . I would not recommend Carlos and or Decorecon to my enemy much less my friends.

I searched for almost a year. I finally found these guys from a friends referral. They did his kitchen counter top and he was happy with it. I went get a quote from them and it all worked out. well within my budget and great workmanship. I asked for additional detailed work which costs a bit more but the over work was excellent. Full kitchen Reno and looks great. I'm glad I added the crown molding for an extra. LOOOOOKS GRRREAT!! Thanks guys.

These guys are good. Excellent price on countertops and installed faster than most places. I chose a nice Caesarstone they had on special. Its a great buy. I recommend them to everyone I know.
