I had my central home vacuum installed in my new home by this company and they did a great job on it! Pricing was great and customer service was excellent. Also they even were able to repair my old Dyson vaccum as well and now it works great !

The power head on our central vac had a broken plastic piece near the drum so the belt broke. Took it in and explained the problem. When I picked it up, the technician wasn't there but they said they just replaced the belt (nothing else).... for $180 bucks. Needless to say, the belt broke again after about 5 uses.I also inquired about a spray mop they had and asked the price. They told me it was a good deal for $150 because online it cost over $300. Thinking it was a bit pricey, I didn't buy. Saw it later at home Depot for $50.Other people here had good experiences so maybe this was a COVID price inflation, but the repair also sucked so I'm not going back to get the vacuum repaired for a second time.

Several people in my family struggle with allergies and frequently get wheezy after vacuuming with any portable vacuum in the home (we have tried them all!) I was thinking of buying and installing my own central vacuum from a box store but thankfully I visited Alberta Vacuum Experts first.The owner seemed like he knew what he was talking about and his prices were very reasonable for a powerful vacuum system and install. The owner said he could install 3 plug in locations and a baseboard floor vacuum in our old house. I told him I doubted it was possible to do it in our 50s home but he seemed confident so I gave it a try.The installer showed up on time, somehow installed everything as promised and also found a way to put the central vacuum garage keeping the noise and potential dust out of our home! After watching him install it correctly, I was very thankful I brought in an expert and trusted Alberta Vacuum Experts. We use the baseboard vacuum piece nearly every day and have never had an issue with any of it since installing over 5 years ago.I recommend this store to anyone looking for anything related to vacuums, especially those ready to upgrade to a central vacuum.

Stopped in to purchase a new canister for my vacuum system a few months back. I was heading out of town the next day so they came and installed it the same day, they also reviewed my other equipment once they arrived at my home. They indicated the other equipment I had was fine and in good repair, and I didn't need to purchase additional equipment, nice to know they're not just trying to upsell you. I would highly recommend dealing with them for your vacuum needs.

Excellent customer service, reasonable prices, great place to purchase a vacuum. We have used Alberta Vacuum Experts for the installation of a central vac system for our current and previous house. When it comes to repair and maintenance, they are professional, transparent and quick to get the job done. Highly recommending this business.

Get a quote first, and if they try to charge you extra (which they will), refuse!

I was very disappointed. I took my Dyson in for repairs. When I talked to the technician at drop-off, he suspected it needed a new battery, but he also suspected other problems. I said if it was just a battery, I would like to replace it myself (much cheaper!) but I'd be happy to pay for the diagnosis. I asked for a phone call with a quote before they proceeded with any work. I waited two weeks and didn't hear back, so I called. The young many who answered the phone told me, quite snippily, that they'd said they'd call me and they should wait for their call.I waited a few more weeks and called again. Although I provided the claim check number, the older man who answered the phone could not find any record of my vacuum--or the vacuum itself. He assured me he'd find it and call me back. Some time later, someone did call me back, and he had the nerve to tell me that I should hurry to pick it up because I had gone way over the legal requirement for the amount of time they needed to hold it and they could dispose of it. This was after weeks of me waiting, and receiving no phone call.When I picked up the vacuum, the battery had been replaced (even though I'd specifically said I could do that myself) and technician was very vague about whether anything else had actually been wrong. He just said they'd cleaned it up and replaced a filter (for which they charged of course--and before I took it in, I had washed all the filters as part of my trouble-shooting process, so I don't think it needed to be replaced).In the end, the bill (for which I never received the requested quote) included a battery I specifically told them not to replace, and a filter I didn't need. If I'd known the price of the repairs" I would have seriously considered buying a new vacuum instead of repairing this one.I was very disappointed and will not be going back."
