Tried Zubu today per a friend’s recommendations and boy was I disappointed. They are currently offering a BOGO deal which im glad we were able to utilize. First off, the wait was essentially 2 hours. I have NEVER waited this long for food. My friend placed our names on the wait list when we got there as they do accept reservations. I suspect the wait was this long due to the current deal. While we waited, we went into the mall to pass our time. As the 2 hours was coming up, we walked back to Zubu to check where we were on the list and we were seated immediately. It’s a cute place inside but the sitting area is really small. My friend ordered the spicy chicken ramen and I decided to try the vegetable ramen. My friend’s ramen was really good. I liked the broth. The vegetable broth in my ramen was good. However I didn’t enjoy anything else about my entrée. I’ve had ramen at other restaurants and the noodles are a bit thicker which I prefer. Since I ordered a vegetable ramen, I assumed I would have more veggies. I had like 2 small pieces of asparagus, 1 piece of cauliflower, 2 pieces of broccoli, and a couple mushrooms. For dessert we had we had vanilla mochi. The mochi was really good. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t recommend this place.

Went during the BOGO deal. The food is good, the atmosphere and service were fine but they force you to pay 18% of gratuity fee??? I'm sobbing. The owners should be paying the workers a living wage, not the customers. It's really a shame because I really loved their food.

Overall, it was amazing! I missed the part that it came with thin noodle… I should have ordered it with a thick noodle instead! But the pork broth was on point and very tasty! I would get this again!9/10ADD-ON PORK CHASHU BOWL +$6.85Probably one of the most disappointing pork chashu bowls I’ve had! The sauce was lacking in flavour, no mayo drizzle, and worst of all, they didn’t torch the pork! I’ve had very flavourful pork chashu bowls before, and this went in the opposite direction. I still ate it, but there was absolutely nothing special to it. I would not order this again.3.8/10

Really really enjoyed the food and service at Zubu! They never disappoint. Made a reservation online on their website, which is relatively easy. They had a set menu of 4 course dinner for $33 and it was a lot of food! Definitely recommend the set dinner (may be seasonal) between the three of us we each got different things to try on the set menu. The cheesecake was a bit underwhelming though, don't get the cheesecake.

IG: avibrantstoryA bit expensive but time to time its worth it!Assorted Seafood Platter is amazing.Ramen broth as well where you will get a choice of lean or fatty on the chashu.A bit disappointed on the dessert since the torch to melt the aburi cheesecake did not work. The fromage was good however. Also I thought they will give us a dessert voucher after the way of their preparation for dessert failed. We did not received any vouchers nor discount on our receipt.Other than the failed dessert, the customer service is good.

Decent spot for ramen. BOGO is a great deal here, otherwise it’s just okay. Ramen is a bit salty and every topping is an extra charge, except for the fresh garlic which is free! Went with a group of 6, and they added an auto gratuity of 18%.

Been here before sans children and they were lovely, but even better when I came with children! Last night we walked in and the gentleman seating us was so accommodating and found a table for us that would fit a highchair (I think they had to shuffle people around).Such incredible service and kid-friendly all around. Had a kid's menu, coloring paper and kid-friendly dishes and cup. I certainly don't expect restaurants to be so kid-friendly but this one definitely was. Excellent food and drinks too!

I recently dined at a restaurant where the food exceeded my expectations. The flavors were delightful, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. However, I must express my disappointment with the customer service experience. When we requested a table for seven, the host seemed rather curt and informed us that we would be seated separately, yet still charged an 18% gratuity, which felt unreasonable. Eventually, they provided us with a table where we could all dine together. We liked the spicy ramen. The service itself lacked professionalism, as we had two waiters attending to us, and it was evident that one of them was irritated with the other. Despite the fantastic food, the overall customer service fell below expectations.

The ambience of the restaurant was good and food presentation was beautiful! However vegan ramen tasted quite mild even for a spicy Ramen! I expected more flavor from it! For those of dont eat spicy food this would definitely work!
