DO NOT GET SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They NEVER answer their phones ,so it is impossible to make any changes to your schedule if you need to!They do not respect their clients ( my mom was left lying on the floor , till l came home, because PSW said she can’t help her due to her back!)Staff is rude and unprofessional ( once l asked PSW remove her wet shoes inside my house - she refused and simply left!!!!)This was horrible experience for me and my mother!!!Please!!!!! Do not get your loved ones into this mess!!!

I have had home care across agencies for almost 20 years and this is the best agency I've ever had. I love my worker, who has been with me for several years. With one exception, the temporary workers who have come (when she is away or ill) have been great. They treat me like a person and don't try to second guess my dis/Abilities. They give me quality of life with none of the stress I had with other agencies and don't hold my good days against me. I can't recommend them highly enough. Peace.

Don't bother getting back to me in a reasonable timeframe, weekend staff sucks need to hire more staff and start to take responsibility for their actions or inaction, if I could I would leave Paramed for their behaviour over the weekend when my regular nurse isn't working

Shameful Company for senior care and get this funded by the Provincial Government with your tax dollars! The workers are a no-show and if they do show they’re late. They are not respectful towards senior needs or their home. Our tax dollars would be better spent by persons that seniors could hire on their own that are framed by the government. That’s the way I would like to see our tax dollars spent!

Doesn’t respects senior people at all. They are supposed to be helping seniors, but they hire incompetent non caring workers That shows no respect whatsoever

Wow, company is getting worse. I called 2-3 weeks ago left a number voice mail and no call back.They are famous for when a staff member calls in sick they can't find any one to replace the person...so a family member needs to take care of there loved ones while Para med gets paid by the provinceSo when someone is away the patient suffers, and they keep the funds from the government....mmmI called yesterday and today right into voice mail and of course I left a voice mail and no call back.Try getting someone to speak with and it's like pulling teeth. Who do I call to complain about this company...I must say there is a hand full of nurses and PSW workers who to do care...but the most of them is with attitude...

Horrible company. Come in with attitude, lie, blame customer/client and just nasty. Carla is someone who you do not want to come in and take care of your parent. Nothing but attitude, hand to your face, and just on mean person. She came in and left my mom crying for an hour, talk about someone who hasnt a great bedside manner. This company is discriminating their employees regarding their vaccination status. If you choose not to get vaccine based on you personal belief and even medical condition you get “punished” by going on unpaid leave. You know ParaMed that none of MDs are giving exemption notes because all scared to loose their licenses. You have policies that leave hard working people without food on the table

If I could give a rating of zero I would. If you are looking to find care at home, such as PSWs, for an ailing loved one AVOID using this company. Eight months ago my father, who has end stage dementia, was assigned PSWs from ParaMed by his Community Care Coordinator to cover 6 hrs of care on weekends. In that time the amount of cancellations and no shows of the PSWs has out numbered the amount of care my 90 yr old father has been given. Instead, my fragile 87 yr old mother is constantly being left to fend for herself in trying to toilet and care for my dad. I help as much as I can but I am also juggling my job and my own family of 6. ParaMed are poorly organized and don’t like to service the east end of Scarborough because of the distance from Toronto, where most of their PSWs are transiting from.Their PSWs rarely know which clients they are to see, and how many times, until the day of!The constant mental stress ParaMed causes my mother EVERY week brings her to tears and, thanks to the massive long LTC wait list in Ontario, this will continue to be a constant strain to her and our family for God knows how long!

This company itself is unprofessional. They do not care about clients certain needs and does not respect your schedule and MUCH MORE. The coordinators are disrespectful and some PSWs are just as bad if not worse. Do not come to this place. This place is a money grab. They arrive at the door and automatically get paid and just leave without doing anything. All they care about is the money not the client. The clients family members and even neighbour have to step up because this company isn't doing their job. The sad thing is the government is paying them with our tax money.If you call to address any issue they will belittle you and mock you.
