Jasmar is an incredible driving instructor! He was very calm and patient which is great for nervous drivers. His instructions were clear and he gave insightful feedback during each lesson, as well as helpful tips for the road test. Jasmar not only taught me valuable driving techniques that helped me pass the road test, but also helped me gain confidence behind the wheel. Jasmar was also very accommodating when it came to scheduling lessons around my availabilities, and his flexibility was greatly appreciated. Would recommend Jasmar to anyone!

I've had driving anxiety for about 10 years or so as my first driving instructor's style didn't fit me.10 years later, I needed to get a license to help with my job, so I knew it was time to try my best to get over my fear of driving and getting an N license as someone older.A friend recommended me to Jasmar and from the very start of the lesson, I knew that I was in good hands. I explained my situation to him and not only was he super understanding, he was so patient with me while teaching me the basics. He was always so calm in his instruction and it made me feel very safe on the road. Just a few lessons in, he was able to instill confidence in me driving on the road to a point that I really started looking forward to our lessons and I even started to find driving fun!Before I knew it, I passed my N on my first attempt! Now, I'm driving all the time and I even drove out of country as it is now a natural part of my everyday life.All in all, instructors matter as it heavily affects the way you perceive a scary activity such as operating a vehicle on the road. Jasmar was able to change my views on driving and he was the instructor for me. My only regret was not having taken lessons from him sooner.Richmond Driving School is the way to go!

Jasmar was a great driving instructor i would 10/10 recommend. He first taught me when i knew nothing about driving and now i feel completely safe and comfortable on the road. He teaches in a way where i would instantly understand. He is a very informative and kind instructor. Definitely coming back for more lessons for my class 5 test.

Whether you just need brush up lessons for your road test or you're starting from 0, Richmond Driving School is where it's at. I first took lessons with RDS like 10 years ago (with Mar's dad - Mr. de Torres!) and he patiently taught me literally everything from turning on the engine (lol) to parallel parking. Then a few years later I went back to get more lessons to brush up for my Class 5 Road Test and took lessons with Mar - he has all the patience and knowledge of his dad, combined with this supremely chill energy that is all his own. Seriously, if you get nerves/anxiety around driving, no one will make you feel as comfortable as Mar. He's so chill and zen you feel calm yourself. Anyway I passed both my N and my Class 5 in one shot, giving me bragging rights within my family forever!! Thanks Mr. de Torres and Mar! \o/

My teacher made significant improvements to my driving skills, knowledge, and capabilities in 1 session, I felt confident and comfortable for the length of our sessions. I was provided with opportunities to act on my present knowledge of a procedure before receiving gentle constructive criticism of what portions need work, and even a demonstration of the procedure with pointers that applied to how I drive already. Great lessons!

i have known jasmar for 2 years now, having prepped for both my N and my class 5 road tests with him and i can confidently say that he is the reason i passed both! he has a way of teaching that is thorough, patient, and calm and he never makes you feel bad if and when you make mistakes on the road. i have recommended him to anyone and everyone who has asked me for a driving instructor and i will continue to do so :) jasmar u r a star

Excellent cervices from ICBC certified driving coach. I've passed my driving test from first attempt. Before that I took a lesson where I was instructed on all the peculiarities of driving environment in BC, I had my mistakes analyzed and given necessary recommendations. Before the exam itself I had a 40 minute warm up. So on the test I felt confident and there were no surprises for me, I was prepared for everything that was taking place.Oh and I was picked up from my address so I didn't have to commute neither for driving lesson nor for driving test.

Jasmar is such an amazing teacher! I took lessons with him for both my N test and Class 5, and I passed first try!
