Walden Cross Country
This is my favourite place in Sudbury. I enjoy it for its mountain biking trails however it has many kilometres of cross country ski trails in the winter as well. The biking trails are a mix of easy medium and difficult. Flat and windy single track on the easy trails. The medium trails are not to technically difficult but the terrain is much steeper. The difficult trails are just that. The Walden Bike Club has posted a trail map at the trail head so you can plan your ride.

Very well maintained trails. Perfect for classic and skate cross country skiing as well as a trail for fatbikes. Large variety of equipment available to rent. Not many steep hills, so it's good for beginners.

This place is great! The trails are in good condition and you are able to rent equipment at a decent price.I would recommend this place for a fun filled family outing, or for a relaxing time on your own.

Awesome trails year-round! Most of my winter experience is for fatbiking but as a very novice XC skier I appreciate that the ski trails are very well maintained and have something to offer all skill levels. Staff have been really friendly and knowledgeable, also.

Hands down best place to ride a bike in the Sudbury Area. Trails are kept up. Nice single track trails, has everything you'd need. Uphills, both simple and technical, downhills and some flowly, twisty single track too. Mostly hardpack, but some rocky sections too.
