Sleep Country

My review is consistent with comments from other shoppers. I went in today to buy pillows as a birthday gift. I was ready to make a purchase today. There were two associates there and while there was one customer other than me. The male associate didn’t even acknowledge me. Then went back to the front desk. The female associate asked if I was with the other customer and I said no. Again ignored and she went back to the front desk. I waited about 10 min asked for their help. He looked up and said I will be with you. Then he went back to doing his thing at the desk. I left and took my business elsewhere. Terrible customer service

This was the first time I visited sleep country in Markham, and the service was excellent! James Guo spent almost 1 hour to introduce most of the mattresses to me and my wife, and answered all of our questions patiently and help us find the mattress fit us the best in the end! Really appreciated his professional service!

Went in to look at adjustable bed frames. There was next to no information on the beds about the frames or even a small diagram about what functions the frames might have.We briefly talked to a clerk and he left us to go talk to other customers. Maybe we looked like we weren't interested in buying? This is just my opinion and a small interaction but it was not a good experience at this location.

Having a high qualified salesperson help us with our purchase made all the difference. It has been years since our last purchase and we didn't really know what to look for in a bed and mattress set. We've been sleeping in our new bed for a few weeks now and we couldn't be happier. We paid a fair price, the delivery was exactly as planned, and the bed is perfect for us.

There was only one store associate in the store when I was there. He was dealing with another customer, so I decided that I could wait. I looked around at pillows and was trying to see if I could make a decision on my own. More than 10 minutes passed and no other associates were there to help. The one store associate didn't acknowledge me.In retail, I totally understand it can be very hard at times when working alone. It can be completely dead and then all of a sudden busy. But how hard is it to take a moment and greet the customer and let them know that you'll be with them as soon as possible?In the end, I walked out. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Very good experience with James who helped us find our new pillows. He was nice and not pushy at all which i appreciated, and there was a nice discount as well!

I had just started to survey cost, brand and quality of mattresses in different stores. Accordingly, with no intention to yet make a decision to buy, we entered this store to check out mattresses. The Sales person, Mr Mohammed Islam impressed us with his courteous behavior, customer friendly attitude and knowledge and we bought the mattresses and pillows from him. He is very honest and gives the right opinion and makes us feel that he is one of us advicng of pros n cons of various brands. He is flexible with pricing and works arround your target price. Very happy to buy through this thorough gentleman Mohammad Islam!

I visited the Markville Mall location to purchase a contour pillow. The store carried a good selection of pillows but not that many contour pillows. We asked if there were any other contour pillows in the store but the male associate didn't seem very helpful or friendly. He returned to his seat and continued working. It wasn't as if he was busy because besides us there was nobody else in the store. We did purchase the pillow because I needed one immediately and he did make the sale for approximately $200 for a pillow but there wasn't a thank you or a smile on his face. For me customer service is a very important part of my visit to a store.

Bought 2 pillows(BOGO) there on Good Friday. Pillows are very smelly after took out from the box. Cannot use it as headache after the strong smell. Took the pillows out under sunshine for 2 days and still strong smell.

Excellent customer service from James (store), but very poor installation and delivery. I purchased both mattress and bed and frame, but they forgot or were reluctant to install central support, which is probably why the mattress is sagging.
