Hello ,We are building a cabin in northern Saskatchewan and we needed some water proofing advice, we discovered Dave at Saskatoon Deck Shop and never looked back. He was so informative that we put a deposit on the spot. He showed us work he had done in the past and discussed the difference of his work compared to others in the industry and I now know first hand his quality of workmanship.Duradek is a great partner for Dave as they are just as passionate as he is. The quality of the product is not comparable to any other out there. We are so happy with our new deck and cannot wait until the spring to enjoy it.Here are some pics.

Not only does the deck look great, with a 10 year warranty, Im confident of the durability of this critical part of my cabin. They even made extra effort to ensure my patio door jamb detail was the best it could be (by coming back another day on short notice once the door was ready!) We replaced our 700sf rooftop deck vinyl in 2014. After just a couple years it started to discolor in small patches and we have contacted Duradek twice since installation and again this year with very little remedies offered. The patches are now very large and ugly. Our deck has no overhanging trees and is open to sun, rain and snow. We’ve had only a few pieces of patio furniture on it and a few flower pots and clean it a couple times a year. As the photo shows, it is now unsightly. Duradek says appearance is only guaranteed for 1 year. So I guess they know this is going to happen. They’re suggesting we replace it again. The vinyl should last 15-20 years per Duradek, maybe longer. We are now trying to decide how to cover it (decking?). We will never purchase any Duradek product again.

Jacob from Aces Vinyl did our deck last month. We love it and he did a great job. Jacob was also great with communicating; getting back to us promptly when we had questions and making sure we were okay with everything. Would definitely recommend.The product is great and we can't wait to get our railings up so we can move onto the deck for the rest of the summer! We are building our dream home and we are very happy with the #Duradek -Ultra Cork Macchiato- that we used on our front deck.
